South Korean superstars are bringing the heat with their releases in February, including some incredible girl group offerings like LE SSERAFIM and Twice, solo efforts from stars like IU and Cha Eun-woo and boy bands, like Cravity.

Dating is a somewhat taboo topic when it comes to K-Pop.

Over the years, members of boy bands and girl groups, as well as soloists, have made many headlines amid rumors of romances with other stars in the entertainment industry.

Although mindsets have been shifting in later years, it’s generally considered a controversy among fans and agencies who would seemingly prefer the stars to stay single, as it provides distraction and also removes the illusion that they’re attainable.

However, there are at least a handful of examples of South Korean superstar idols who are in relationships, and some have even gone the distance to marriage and kids.

Dakota Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Elizabeth Olsen were just a few of the stars to attend the Gucci 2024 Cruise fashion show at the Gyeongbokgung Palace on Tuesday (May 16) in Seoul, South Korea.

Each actress delivered a chic look that highlighted their individual styles while posing for photographers outside the event.

Jodie looked effortlessly cool in a belted black dress. She carried a studded bag and wore a graphic eye look. Dakota opted for an eye-popping sheer number with diamond accents that glimmered in photos, and Elizabeth wore a red skirt with a slit and a white shirt.

IU and Lee Jong Suk are confirming that the rumors are true: they’re dating!

The 29-year-old Palette singer-songwriter and the 33-year-old Big Mouth actor confirmed their relationship in the form of sweet letters posted to their respective fan cafes on Monday (January 2), following reports confirming that they were dating.

Dispatch reported that the two spent Christmas together in Nagoya, Japan at a luxury resort, which was later verified by the stars’ agencies.

And now, they’re speaking out for the first time.

SUGA and IU are joining forces.

The BTS superstar and the “Palette” South Korean singer released their collaboration, “Eight,” on Wednesday (May 6).

SUGA produced the poignant song, and is also featured.

“I’m not sure whether this is coming from my personal sentiment, the general atmosphere of the society that is struggling through hard times due to the disaster, or both,” IU said about the song.

“I feel like my 28 will be remembered as a repeated feeling of helplessness and lethargy and the longing for the ‘orange island’ where we were not sad and were able to feel free,” she added.
