Tony Hale and Jack Whitehall suit up for a special lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building in New York City on Friday (November 5).
The 33-year-old Bad Education actor and the 51-year-old Arrested Development star were joined at the event by their Clifford the Big Red Dog co-stars Darby Camp, 14, and Izaac Wang, 14.

We’re one week away from the release of the Clifford the Big Red Dog movie and the stars stepped out for a red carpet premiere!
Jack Whitehall, Tony Hale, and young co-stars Darby Camp and Izaac Wang were in attendance for the event on Thursday night (November 4) at the Scholastic Building in New York City.
Also at the premiere were cast members Keith Ewell, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Rodriguez, Bear Allen-Blaine, Ty Jones, and Mia Ronn.
Here is the movie’s synopsis: “When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple.”
Clifford the Big Red Dog will be released in theaters and on Paramount+ on November 10.

Raya and the Last Dragon is No. 1!
The Disney film opened bringing in an estimated $8.6 million during its first weekend at the box office, THR reported Sunday (March 7).
The film’s soft landing was “likely due to the refusal of several key chains — including giant Cinemark Theatres — to carry the fantasy-adventure. That’s because they wanted more generous terms since Raya debuted simultaneously on Disney+ for $30,” according to the outlet.
Overseas, Raya and the Last Dragon opened to $17.6 million from 32 markets for a global total of $26.2 million.

The brand new trailer for Raya and the Last Dragon is finally here!
Here’s a synopsis of the upcoming film: Raya and the Last Dragon takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.
The film features an all-star voice cast including Kelly Marie Tran as the intrepid warrior Raya, Awkwafina as the legendary dragon, Sisu, Gemma Chan as Raya’s nemesis, Namaari, Daniel Dae Kim as Raya’s visionary father, Benja, and Sandra Oh as Namaari’s powerful mother, Virana. Jack Whitehall and young child actors Darby Camp and Izaac Wang were spotted filming scenes together on Sunday (August 11) in New York City.
A special effects team was seen walking behind them while wearing a giant dog costume that will be transformed into Clifford in post-production.
Darby, best known for playing Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter on Big Little Lies, will play Emily, “who is struggling to fit in at home and at school. She discovers a small red puppy who is destined to become her best friend. When Clifford magically undergoes one heck of a growth spurt and attracts the attention of a genetics company, Emily and her Uncle Casey (Whitehall) have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City.”
The movie will hit theaters on November 13, 2020.
