Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu & 'Why Women Kill'' Cast Celebrate Premiere - Watch Trailer!

Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu and Kirby Howell-Baptiste strike a pose together on the blue carpet while attending the premiere of their new series Why Women Kill held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday (August 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The three ladies were joined at the event by their co-stars Alexandra Daddario, Jack Davenport, Reid Scott, Sadie Calvano, Sam Jaeger, Alicia Coppola, Kevin William Paul and Michelle Bernard, as well as creator Marc Cherry.

Why Women Kill is a darkly comedic drama from the mind of Marc, who brought us Desperate Housewives and Devious Maids. It details the lives of three women living in three different decades dealing with infidelity in their marriages.

'Why Women Kill' Creator Marc Cherry Reveals Why He's Jealous of Ryan Murphy

Why Women Kill creator Marc Cherry is joined on stage by the show’s star Lucy Liu during CBS’ portion of the 2019 TCA Summer Press Tour on Thursday (August 1) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Marc is also the creator of such shows as Desperate Housewives and Devious Maids. During the panel, he revealed that if Why Women Kill gets a second season, he might turn the show into an anthology series.

“I have an idea of Season 2 and I’m absolutely going to try and bring back as many people as I can,” Marc said (via Deadline). “What Ryan Murphy introduced to TV with the repertory theater company of it all, I’m jealous as all get out.”

Also appearing during the panel were the show’s other stars, Jack Davenport, Ginnifer Goodwin, Sam Jaeger, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Reid Scott.

Why Women Kill premieres on CBS All Access on August 15.

Ginnifer Goodwin Join 'Why Women Kill' Cast at Outfest Event!

Ginnifer Goodwin poses alongside series creator Marc Cherry at the Outfest screening of their new show Why Women Kill on Sunday night (July 21) in Los Angeles.

Joining the pair at the event were co-stars Alexandra Daddario, Sadie Calvano, Jack Davenport, Reid Scott, and Sam Jaeger.

Why Women Kill, a darkly comedic drama from the Desperate Housewives creator, details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ‘60s, a socialite in the ‘80s and a lawyer in 2019, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal… has not.

The series premieres on CBS All Access on Thursday, August 15 and new episodes will be released weekly.

Taron Egerton On 'Kingsman' Co-star Colin Firth: 'He's A Great Man'

'Smash' Series Finale Recap: Who Won the Tony Awards?

The end came with a celebration of the past few years of hard work in the form of the Tony Awards during the series finale of Smash on Sunday (May 26).

The series started off with the inception of the musical Bombshell based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. The second season introduced the original musical Hit List, which became Bombshell‘s competition as they both made their transitions to Broadway at the same time.

In the two hour season finale, we watched as the characters, played by Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty, Debra Messing, Jeremy Jordan, and many others, watched the nominations for the Tony Awards be announced. In the second hour of the episode, the awards were handed out at a star-studded ceremony.
