Rosa Salazar and Christoph Waltz meet up on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Alita: Battle Angel on Tuesday night (February 5) at the Westwood Regency Theater in Los Angeles.

The actors were joined at the event by co-stars Jennifer Connelly, Lana Condor, Keean Johnson, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Sam Medina, and more.

Alita: Battle Angel director and co-writer Robert Rodriguez and producer and co-writer James Cameron were at the event.

The film stars Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, Keean Johnson, and many more.

Here’s a synopsis: When Alita (Salazar) awakens with no memory of who she is in a future world she does not recognize, she is taken in by Ido (Waltz), a compassionate doctor who realizes that somewhere in this abandoned cyborg shell is the heart and soul of a young woman with an extraordinary past. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious history while her street-smart new friend Hugo (Johnson) offers instead to help trigger her memories. But it is only when the deadly and corrupt forces that run the city come after Alita that she discovers a clue to her past – she has unique fighting abilities that those in power will stop at nothing to control. If she can stay out of their grasp, she could be the key to saving her friends, her family and the world she’s grown to love.

The Tick Season 1 will be released in two parts of six episodes each. The first part will be available on Amazon Prime on Friday, August 25, with the second part available in early 2018.

Idris Elba faces off with Jackie Earle Haley while filming an intense action scene on the set of their upcoming movie The Dark Tower on Sunday (July 10) in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 43-year-old actor was seen pointing a gun at Jackie, 54, who ripped a door off of a car at one point in the scene.

It looks like Jackie will have some sort of CGI put on his face as he was spotted with dots all over.

Earlier in the weekend, Idris was spotted with his shirt unbuttoned while filming another fight scene, this time on a rooftop with different actors.

The trailer for the highly anticipated movie The Birth of a Nation has arrived!

Nate Parker stars in the film and he also wrote and directed it. Aja Naomi King, Armie Hammer, Gabrielle Union, Jackie Earle Haley, and Penelope Ann Miller also star in the movie, in theaters on October 7.

Set against the antebellum South, The Birth of a Nation follows Nat Turner (Parker), a literate slave and preacher, whose financially strained owner, Samuel Turner (Hammer), accepts an offer to use Nat’s preaching to subdue unruly slaves. As he witnesses countless atrocities – against himself and his fellow slaves – Nat orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom.
