If you don’t remember, nearly 2 years ago, Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright caused a lot of backlash and controversy when she shared a link to a YouTube video that questioned if everyone should take the COVID-19 vaccine.

Letitia shared the video with the prayer hands emoji and wrote, “if you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself….you get cancelled.”

Letitia faced a ton of backlash for posting that anti-vax video, and she eventually responded to the controversy.

Well, there’s been a new update and it comes from fellow Marvel star and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s Jameela Jamil!

The latest entry to the MCU premiered at the El Capitan Theatre on Wednesday night (October 26) in Hollywood, Calif. The event was attended by castmates such as Letitia Wright and Lupita Nyong’o. However, other stars were in attendance.

Jameela Jamil is not a fan of the theme for the 2023 Met Gala.

The 36-year-old She-Hulk star clarified why she took issue with the choice to honor late designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in February 2019, at the event next year.

Although she noted that he was “supremely talented,” she called him out for using “his platform [in] such a distinctly hateful way, mostly towards women, so repeatedly and up until the last years of his life, showing no remorse, offering no atonement, no apology, no help to groups he attacked.”

Jameela Jamil is opening up about her appearance.

The 36-year-old She-Hulk actress made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday (September 22).

During her appearance, Drew and Jameela had a conversation about Photoshop and retouching photos.

“Ever take a selfie and immediately hate it? Well, apparently there’s a psychological reason. InStyle reports that it all boils down to expectations. When you first snap a selfie you have the highest expectation and you want the picture to be perfect…all of the sudden you look at it, you see imperfections, you’re disappointed, but if you let it go for a few days or weeks, guess what? It’s like sands through the hourglass. You no longer look at it with that kind of scrutiny…how do you think this happens and why, Jameela and Rossy?” Drew pondered on the show.

Now, Jameela Jamil is slamming people who are perpetuating the rumor and explaining why it’s harmful to make false claims that someone is illiterate.

Tatiana Maslany is celebrating the imminent launch of her new Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law!

The 36-year-old Emmy-winning actress walked the red carpet at the premiere with new husband Brendan Hines on Monday (August 15) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Tatiana was joined at the event by her co-stars Mark Ruffalo, Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Griffin Matthews, Rhys Coiro, Mark Linn-Baker, Krystin Goodwin, Steve Coulter, and Patty Guggenheim, as well as director Kat Coiro.

In the new nine-episode comedy series, Jennifer Walters (Maslany)—an attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases—must navigate the complicated life of a single, 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

The new series premieres on August 18.
