Nicholas Hoult is dapper in a suit as he hits the red carpet ahead of the Opening Ceremony and the La Vérité (The Truth) screening held during the 2019 Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande on Wednesday (August 28) in Venice, Italy.

The 29-year-old actor stepped out in support of the the film’s cast Juliette Binoche and Catherine Deneuve, as well as writer-director Hirokazu Koreeda.

La Vérité (The Truth) is a story about a stormy reunion between a daughter (Juliette) and her actress mother, Catherine (Deneuve), against the backdrop of Catherine’s latest role in a sci-fi picture as a mother who never grows old.

Also in attendance to show their support on the carpet were Spice Girls member Mel B, Italian actress Alessandra Mastronardi, Chinese actress Zhong Chuxi, Vox Lux‘s Stacy Martin, and models Iman, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Candice Swanepoel, Jasmine Sanders and Isabeli Fontana.

Jasmine Sanders is the Sports Illustrated 2019 Rookie of the Year!

The 28-year-old model was revealed as SI‘s pick for the year on Thursday (August 1).

“The Rookie of the Year title is awarded to a woman from the 2019 rookie class who embodies the brand and is exceptional in front of the camera and behind the camera. The Rookie is chosen based on a combination of popular vote, editor’s choice and an evaluation of proven history as an SI Swimsuit brand ambassador,” the brand declared.

The 2019 SI Swimsuit rookie class includes Camille Kostek, Haley Kalil, Halima Aden, Kelsey Merritt, Olivia Brower, Tara Lynn and Winnie Harlow.

Previous winners of the Rookie of the Year title include Chrissy Teigen (2010), Nina Agdal (2012) and Alexis Ren (2018).

On the nickname “Golden Barbie”: “One of my teachers in high school used to call me Goldilocks, then some of my friends used to say, “You look like a Barbie doll!” Somehow, my sister and I threw ‘golden’ and ‘Barbie’ together and it worked.”

On self-confidence: “Whatever your job may be, you always have people who have your back – and if I constantly think about those people, I feel like that keeps a smile on my face and keeps me going. My confidence really comes from within and trying to be as comfortable as I can with myself.”

On her current goals: “I just bought a new house! It was the biggest step and the most powerful feeling, being able to say that I’m adulting now and getting on my feet.”

Sofia Richie rocks some snakeskin boots with a sleek black dress at her Frankie’s Bikinis collection launch party on Monday afternoon (July 1) at Nobu in Malibu, Calif.

The 20-year-old model hosted Pia Mia, Charlotte McKinney, Jasmine Sanders and many more at the launch, where they enjoyed summer inspired cocktails and sushi.

Available to purchase now online, the collection consists of 10 swimwear separates available in pink and blue tie-dye prints, and range from $85 – $100.

Tyra Banks strikes a pose at the closing night party of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit On location weekend held at Mynt and MynTu on Saturday (May 11) in Miami, Fla.

The 45-year-old model and cover girl was joined by fellow cover girl Camille Kostek, Barbara Palvin, Kate Brock, Jasmine Sanders, and Olivia Culpo.

The next day, Tyra shared her own spin on the 10 year challenge, involving a comparison of her first Sports Illustrated cover and her now, in the same bikini.

The one where you posted a photo of yourself now next to a photo of yourself 10 years ago?” Tyra wrote on Instagram. “Well, I guess this is my @si_swimsuit 22 year challenge. Scroll the pic to see. But to me, it’s not just about what I’m looking like. It’s about what I’m FEELING like. Back then, I knew I had a plan to do more than model. I knew I wanted to make a difference. I knew I had a calling to do more than for just myself. I just didn’t know HOW I was gonna do it.”
