Three Stars Join Netflix's 'Sex Education' Season 3

Sex Education is getting some new faces!

The upcoming third season of the Netflix series will feature three new stars, TVLine reported Thursday (September 24).

Star Trek: Discovery star Jason Isaacs will join as Peter Groff, Headmaster Groff’s cocky and more successful older brother. The original Mr. Groff (played by Alistair Petrie) will be staying with his brother in light of his recent separation from his lonely-in-love wife, Maureen.

Jemima Kirke of Girls is joining as Hope, a former Moordale student-turned-new headmistress who wants to bring the school back to its past standards of excellence, and recording artist Dua Saleh will star as Cal, a nonbinary student who clashes with Hope’s new vision.

Jason and Jemima will be billed as guest stars, while Dua will be recurring.

Production on the new season started earlier in September, and the series is aiming for a 2021 season premiere. Find out more about the Season 3 plans amid the pandemic.

Harry Potter's Jason Isaacs Reveals 'Decades-Long Love Affair with Drugs'

Jason Isaacs, well known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, revealed he had a “decades-long love affair with drugs.”

“I’ve always had an addictive personality and by the age of 16 I’d already passed through drink and was getting started on a decades-long love affair with drugs,” the 57-year-old actor told the Big Issue. “Every action was filtered through a burning need I had for being as far from a conscious, thinking, feeling person as possible,” he continued. “No message would get through for nearly 20 years.”

Jason revealed the first time he got drunk at age 12.

“The barman, who we thought at the time was a hero and I now realize belonged in prison, sneaked us a full bottle of Southern Comfort,” he said. “We drank the entire thing in the toilet, then staggered out into the party, reeling around farcically. I vomited, fell on and pulled down a giant curtain, snogged a girl, god bless her… ran out into the street, vomited again, tripped, smashed my head open on the pavement and gushed blood all over my clothes.”

“The next morning, I woke up with a splitting headache, stinking of puke with a huge scab and the memory of having utterly shamed myself. All I could think was… I cannot f—— wait to do that again. Why? I’ve no idea. Genes? Nurture? Star sign?” Jason recalled.

Jason also spoke about what happened before he quit using.

“I remember there being a moment, not long before I got clean, when it suddenly occurred to me that if everybody I knew died, literally every single person, I probably wouldn’t mind that much,” he said. “In fact, I might like it, because then it would be an excuse to sit in a room by myself and take drugs and everybody else would say, ‘Well you know, fair enough, you heard what happened didn’t you?’”

Jason Isaacs Casts A Spell With Lucius Malfoy's Snake Wand To Raise Funds for British Red Cross on TikTok

Jason Isaacs is channeling the good side of Lucius Malfoy to raise awareness for the pandemic fight and funds for the British Red Cross on TikTok.

In the new video, the 56-year-old actor, who famously played the father of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, whips out the snake wand prop he still has from the franchise, and cast a spell.

“You’re not going to see me dance on TikTok, but I will be there to encourage users to try out the new donate function to support the work of the British Red Cross,” Jason shared about the video. “I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work the Red Cross do, especially for the most vulnerable. During this current crisis, the organisation needs your help more than ever. So, get over to TikTok and donate – and dance if you want.”

Jason also announced in the video that users will be able to add a donation sticker to their videos and livestreams, raising money for the British Red Cross and that all funds raised will be matched by TikTok for the next four weeks.

Malfoy Reunion! Tom Felton & Jason Isaacs Have a Video Chat During Lockdown

Draco and Lucius Malfoy are together again!

Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs had a mini Harry Potter reunion during a video call to catch up while social distancing in their respective homes.

Jason shared their video chat on Instagram on Friday (March 27) to share what they’re up to during the worldwide self-quarantine.

“That doesn’t look like someone that is in quarantine,” Jason said to Tom, who was hanging out outside during the sunny weather. “That looks like somebody out in the beautiful Los Angeles countryside.”

“That kinda is our quarantine, really,” Tom explained. “We’re just hanging out in the garden.”

Jason tried to stay positive while revealing what he’s been up to these days.

“We’ve got a house and we’ve got food so that puts us a million times better than people who don’t have anywhere to live and don’t have anything to eat and don’t have any money, and all the people who are sick or dying so can’t complain,” Jason said.

“But f–k, it’s weird and scary is what it is,” Jason addded.
