Andy Samberg poses for a photo while attending a panel for Brooklyn Nine-Nine during day one of 2018 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 19) in San Diego, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Melissa Fumero, Dirk Blocker, Joel McKinnon Miller, and Joe Lo Truglio.

The cast opened up about the show’s move from Fox to NBC for the upcoming sixth season.

Andy chatted about how Fox and Fox News are both under the same umbrella.

“All I know is there are different factions of Fox,” he told THR. “Fox, the people we dealt with there, I truly believe really loved and supported the show. I don’t know what they would say publicly about the Fox News wing of Fox.”

Chelsea jokingly added, “Fox News is so good, that’s the hardest part about leaving.”

Andy Samberg on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Sixth Season Revival at NBC: 'It Feels Like Home'

Andy Samberg is opening up about returning to NBC with the sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine after being canceled by Fox.

“I would’ve been happy almost anywhere because I love this show so much and I wanted to keep doing it, but for me personally having already spent time working at NBC, I really enjoyed that experience,” the 39-year-old actor told Variety at Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s For Your Consideration event on Wednesday (June 13) at UCB Sunset Theater in Los Angeles.

Andy was joined at the event by his co-stars Joe Lo Truglio, Terry Crews, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller.

“Literally when we flew out to New York for Upfronts, I was welcomed back to New York by all of the security guards at 30 Rock. They were like ‘Hey! Welcome back!’ and gave me big hugs and I was like ‘Oh, this feels like home in a way’,” Andy continued. “It made a lot easier especially considering on that Friday we were talking about potentially flying to New York to go to the Fox Upfront, and then canceled, and then I was crushed. If it had been somewhere else it would’ve been even more surreal because we wouldn’t have known anyone and it would’ve been just kind of thrown into this new thing.”
