John Green's 'Looking For Alaska' Probably Won't Ever Be A Movie

Looks like the Looking For Alaska movie has been put on the shelf.

Author John Green took to Twitter today, telling fans straight out the issue about making the movie based on his best selling book of the same name.

“As this has so many RTs, I guess I should say: No Looking for Alaska movie is forthcoming (to my knowledge anyway),” he wrote. “I have no control over the movie rights to Looking for Alaska. To my knowledge, Paramount (who own the rights) have no plans to make a film.”

Cara Delevingne Thanks 'Paper Towns' Author for Defending Her After Awkward Interview

Cara Delevingne is thanking “Paper Towns” author John Green for coming to her defense after her awkward television interview went viral.

Cara refuses to stick to the script. She refuses to indulge lazy questions and refuses to turn herself into an automaton to get through long days of junketry. I don’t find that behavior entitled or haughty. I find it admirable,” John wrote on his blog. “Cara Delevingne doesn’t exist to feed your narrative or your news feed ” and that’s precisely why she’s so f–king interesting.”

After Cara saw that excerpt floating around social media, she tweeted saying, “Whoever said this! Thank you so much!”

John wrote back to her saying, “That was me! <3″ and she wrote a heartfelt response back. See below!
