The Old Man is a FX drama series based on Thomas Perry’s bestselling book, and it’s a hit!

The show premiered in June 2023 on Hulu, and was the most-watched cable series premiere since January 2021, and was the most-watched FX series debut on Hulu in its opening weekend. By the end of the same month, the show was renewed for a second season.

The series follows Dan Chase, played by Jeff Bridges, who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.

Although the Hollywood strikes caused a delay in production on the second season, the show is still set to move forward with Season 2, and we know several stars expected to return.

The upcoming animated musical Spellbound has found a new streaming home!

Starring Rachel Zegler and Jordan Fisher, the movie was originally set up at Apple TV+ as part of a deal between it’s production company Skydance Animation and the streamer.

Now, Apple and Skydance Animation’s multi-year pact has come to a close, with the animation company needing a new home, and they’ve quickly found one at Netflix, THR reports.

A new trailer for Leonardo DiCaprio‘s highly-anticipated new movie has been released.

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actor stars alongside Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro, and Jesse Plemons in the Martin Scorsese-directed movie Killers of the Flower Moon.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Killers of the Flower Moon is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Gladstone), Killers of the Flower Moon tracks the suspicious murders of members of the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight after oil was discovered underneath their land.”

Killers of the Flower Moon is coming!

The film will premiere in select theaters on October 6, 2023 and go wide on October 20, 2023 before streaming globally on Apple TV+. It will be released in IMAX theatres beginning October 6.
