Joseph Morgan is a married man!

The 33-year-old Originals star wed Persia White in an intimate ceremony on Saturday (July 5) in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, his rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“It had a very rustic feel to it,” Persia told the mag about the nuptials. “There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature.”

Persia got dolled up in a gorgeous Vera Wang gown, while Joseph donned a Miguel Wilson tux.

“It was mostly family, a handful of close friends,” Joseph told the mag about the 26 guests in attendance. “My best man was my best friend of almost 20 years, Matt Ryan. He actually plays John Constantine on the new NBC show Constantine, but we’ve been friends since we were teenagers.”

The couple’s first dance was to Florence + the Machine‘s “Never Let Me Go,” and later jetted off to Negril for their exotic honeymoon.

So what’s next for the couple? Kids! “Little cute mini Josephs!” Persia said. Aw!

Joseph and Persia met on set of The Vampire Diaries during the third season. They got engaged in May of this year. Congrats to the newlyweds!!!

Joseph Morgan pals around with Daniel Gillies and Charles Michael Davis at The CW Network’s 2014 Upfront Presentation held at The London Hotel on Thursday morning (May 15) in New York City.

The guys were joined on the carpet by their co-star Phoebe Tonkin, whose character gave birth to a hybrid baby in the season finale!

Just the day before, JustJared.com confirmed that Joseph is engaged to his former Vampire Diaries co-star Persia White! Congrats again to the happy couple!

Joseph Morgan is engaged to his girlfriend Persia White, his rep confirms to JustJared.com!

The 32-year-old The Originals actor and Persia, 41, met on the set of The Vampire Diaries back during the show’s third season.

“We really appreciate those of you who have supported our wild, creative, passionate and unlikely relationship,” the couple told Wetpaint about their engagement. “We have found a rare and precious thing; true love. We wish you all the same.”

The Originals had its season one finale this past week and it led The CW to better ratings than Fox, which is a big feat for the network.

Congratulations to the happy couple on the great news!

Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, and Daniel Gillies hit the carpet at the PaleyFest panel for their show The Originals on Saturday evening (March 22) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

They were joined at the event by co-stars Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Leah Pipes, and Danielle Campbell, as well as show creator Julie Plec, Daniel‘s wife Rachael Leigh Cook, and Joseph‘s girlfriend Persia White.

The panel comes just a week and a half after Claire‘s shocking exit from the series.

“It’s ludicrous,” Claire recently shared with Buzzfeed about the made up reports of why she exited the show. “I want to be very clear that they didn’t run out of material, I wasn’t pushed out, I wasn’t fed up with Rebekah, I didn’t quit mid-season, there was no drama, there was no rift between cast members; it really came down to the fact that I completed my initial commitment and made a life choice, not a career choice.”

Claire continued, “This show has been so amazing for my career, and I’ve had such unbelievable material, it was just never my intention to be away from home this long. It was a tough choice that I didn’t fully make it right up until the end, because I was enjoying myself so much. But three seasons later, I realized I hadn’t been home to Australia in years, I hadn’t seen my family, and I hadn’t spent time with the people I loved…but I want to make it so clear that this show has such a special place in my heart. I am so glad I was able to do The Originals, and I want to be a part of that family for a long time. I am simply looking at this as a temporary absence.”

Joseph Morgan keeps it dapper in a tux for his feature in the October 2013 issue of Bello magazine.

Here’s what the 32-year-old Originals star shared with the mag:

On researching for the role: “I’ve always been fascinated with the genre. I had somewhat of a knowledge of vampire mythology before going into the show. I watched a lot of films, read a lot of books, and you know, just kind of immersed myself in it, so in many ways it was a dream job going into this. I just had to familiarize myself with the particular mythology of Mystic Falls.”

On how he started as just a guest star: “I came into The Vampire Diaries in someone else’s body (Alaric), and then I was contracted to do more episodes as a guest star at the end of the second season, with the potential to become a regular. I knew if I really messed I up, they’d cover themselves because Klaus could just come into some other actor’s body. But luckily they seemed to like what I was doing.”

On how the show differs from The Vampire Diaries: “They’ve taken my favorite elements of The Vampire Diaries and made a new show with them. And I’ve always loved working with Claire [Holt] and Daniel [Gillies]. There’s an older, darker, edgier side to The Originals. I’m looking forward to playing how Klaus deals with impending fatherhood.”
