Nina Dobrev hits the tarmac with her Vampire Diaries co-stars Michael Trevino, Candice Accola, Claire Holt, and Joseph Morgan on Friday (July 6) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old actress and her co-stars were all smiles as they made their way through the airport.

On getting inspiration for his character, Klaus: “I looked a lot at Tom Cruise‘s Lestat [in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles] when I was preparing for Klaus. I also wanted a little element of Anthony Hopkins‘ Hannibal Lecter, that quiet calm he has. There is something so predatory about the way he uses stillness, like a coiled spring.”

On what he’d like to achieve career-wise: “There is so much more I want to achieve. Certainly in terms of acting roles but also in writing and directing. I want to become more involved in the whole process of film-making. This is certainly something I’ve been working towards for the last few years.”

Damon and Stefan disagree on the best way to handle Klaus, and a reckless Stefan decides to test his theory by taking things to dangerous extremes. Bonnie is concerned when Elena tells her about Jeremy’s new plans. At a Founder’s meeting, Alaric once again runs into Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto), who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner (guest star David Colin Smith). Tyler refuses to go along with Klaus’ latest demand, and is surprised when Klaus seems to accept his decision.

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW!

The 22-year-old actress dressed as Hermoine Granger from the Harry Potter series – and sported cutouts of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley on both her shoulders! Ian, 32, bulked up in a Captain Planet getup for his foundation’s event to unite empowered women.

“Last night was magical- thank you ISF team and all those who came and supported.Thanks for generosity! To all that wanted to come as well,” Ian tweeted after the successful bash.
