The 21-year-old social media star got candid about rumors surrounding his breakup with Addison Rae on an episode of BFFs with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards on Thursday (March 25).
A few days ago, Addison seemed to suggest she and Bryce had broken up during an interview with Zane Lowe to discuss her new single “Obsessed.”
Bryce then confirmed the split two days later in a video titled “we broke up.” In the video, he clarified that he and Addison had actually broken up a month ago but that they were still extremely close and “talk every day.”
Bryce told Dave and Josh that since people didn’t know he and Addison had ended their relationship, they assumed he had cheated on Addison with Logan Paul’s ex-girlfriend Josie Canseco, but said that he and Josie are just friends.
Dave Portnoy asked, “Did you hook up with Josie Canseco?” Bryce replied, “No,” and after a pause, he laughed: “I didn’t. I didn’t.”
“Me and Josie are, like, good friends,” he continued. “We’re hanging out. We’re just vibing. We’ve been to a couple get-togethers.”
When the hosts asked if he was willing to take a lie detector test about it with his parents listening live, Bryce said, “I would answer the question, but considering there’s no lie detector or my parents’ lives [on the line], I’m standing by the answer.”
“F—k you guys,” he joked.
Bryce also said he was the one who ended it with Addison due to stress the media caused on their relationship.
“I was completely stressed out with, like, dude, I paid so much money in lawyer fees to get all this f—king bulls—t off of my plate,” Bryce said, explaining that he had hired attorneys to shut down cheating claims.
“I didn’t want, like, any of that to be blown up to that proportion… On top of that, relationship issues involving that,” he continued.
According to Bryce, the pair had planned to not mention their breakup publicly but then Addison “slipped up in an interview,” referring to her conversation with Zane Lowe.
