Evangeline Lilly might be saving the day as The Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, she could have suited up as a hero much earlier.

The 43-year-old Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actress revealed that both Hugh Jackman and Joss Whedon scouted her for roles in hero-focused action flicks.

She explained why she turned them down and how the interactions went during a recent podcast appearance. She also opened up about how the MCU convinced her to join the franchise.

Charisma Carpenter is responding to Joss Whedon‘s own response over his alleged toxic behavior.

If you didn’t see, Joss spoke with New York Magazine about the allegations against him, which included Charisma‘s own remarks and his words towards her when she alerted him that she was pregnant during the fourth season of Angel.

“[I] did not call her fat,” he claimed. “Most of my experiences with Charisma were delightful and charming.”

Joss Whedon is responding to the allegations leveled against him by some members of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast.

In particular, Charisma Carpenter wrote in a statement last year that Whedon had called her “fat” and asked if she was going to keep her unborn child after she learned she was pregnant. Another Buffy star, Michelle Trachtenberg, explained that Whedon was not allowed to be alone with her on set.

Gal Gadot is opening up about working with Joss Whedon on the set of Justice League and how she was “shocked” by the way he spoke to her.

A bombshell report surfaced back in April 2021 that Joss threatened to harm Gal‘s career while they were making the movie.

THR published a report suggesting that Gal had “multiple concerns with the revised version of the film, including issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in Wonder Woman. She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next.”

Gal said a month later that Joss “kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable.”
