James Bay and Julia Michaels just dropped an intimate music video for their new song “Peer Pressure.”

The duo get close as they sing together in a night club and starry lights are projected around the room.

“I think it can be easy to stay very guarded in life, and not let anybody in, past your personal armor. These guards we all put up every day for different reasons,” James said in a statement about the song.

He continued, “In writing ‘Peer Pressure’ Julia and I wanted to talk about how, when the right person comes along, they can break through any armor and with love, get straight to you. It’s about that person who, no matter how much of a guard you hold up, finds their way through to you.”

Julia Michaels has dropped a music video for her song “Deep” from the EP Inner Monologue Part I.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter surprised fans by dropping the collection of new music and she’ll unveil Part II this spring.

Julia recently joined Keith Urban for the Australian leg of his current world tour and she’s hitting the road with Pink for the Beautiful Trauma World Tour right now. She’ll be performing solo shows in the middle of that tour!

Back in January, Julia released her latest EP Inner Monologue Part 1 which features collabs with Selena Gomez and Niall Horan.

Earlier this week, Julia and Niall were trapped in a The Late Late Show-themed Escape Room and host James Corden wouldn’t let them perform on the show until they got out.

The host of The Late Late Show trapped Niall Horan and Julia Michaels in an Escape Room during their recent appearance on the show.

James put Niall and Julia into an Escape Room based on past sketches and jokes told on his show.

The musical guests were told that they are not allowed to perform their new song “What a Time” until they escape the room.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter and the 25-year-old One Direction solo star performed on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Monday night (February 18).

“What a Time” is featured on Julia‘s latest EP, Inner Monologue – Part 1, which was released at the end of January.

“That was a special day . Thank you @latelateshow @JKCorden @benwinston for having us , it was a right laugh. Thank you @juliamichaels for wanting me to be a part of this beautiful song . Xx,” Niall wrote on his Twitter after the performance.
