The first trailer for A24′s upcoming movie Janet Planet has been released.

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker makes her directorial debut with the new coming-of-age movie, which she also wrote the screenplay for.

The movie stars Julianne Nicholson, Zoe Ziegler, Elias Koteas, Will Patton, and Sophie Okonedo.

Here’s the synopsis: “In rural Western Massachusetts, 11-year-old Lacy spends the summer of 1991 at home, enthralled by her own imagination and the attention of her mother, Janet. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker captures a child’s experience of time passing, and the ineffability of a daughter falling out of love with her mother, in this singularly sublime film debut.”

The trailer for Nicolas Cage‘s new movie has been released!

The 59-year-old actor stars as the man of everyone’s dream in the new comedy Dream Scenario, written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli.

Here’s the synopsis: “Hapless family man Paul Matthews (Cage) finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams. But when his nighttime appearances take a nightmarish turn, Paul is forced to navigate his newfound stardom, in this wickedly entertaining comedy from writer-director Kristoffer Borgli and producer Ari Aster.”

Blonde is one of the most buzzed-about movies of the year – and the first NC-17 rated Netflix movie – and it’s finally available to stream.

Fans who are checking out the movie on the streamer will likely want to know if they should stick around after the credits for an additional scene. Many movies these days, especially ones that are part of a franchise, will include extra footage at the end to tease future installments or to give audiences some bonus content.

Brad Pitt joins Ana de Armas and the rest of the cast of Blonde on the red carpet at the film’s premiere during the 2022 Venice Film Festival Thursday (September 8).

The 34-year-old Knives Out star wore a flowing pink dress with a plunging neckline. She paired it with a stunning diamond necklace. Brad, who worked on the film as a producer, wore a black tuxedo.

Co-stars Adrien Brody and Julianne Nicholson were also in attendance. Adrien walked the red carpet with with his girlfriend Georgina Chapman by his side.

The 34-year-old Knives Out star wore a black officer jacket and mini skirt for the event. She paired the outfit with black heels. Adrien, who she posed for several photos with, also wore head-to-toe black.

Julianne opted for a vibrant floral dress for the event. The cast also posed with several of the film’s producers, including Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.

Blonde, a Marilyn Monroe biopic, premieres at the Venice Film Festival Thursday. It will be available to stream on Netflix from September 28. Check out the trailer to get a better sense of the project!
