The first trailer for the upcoming vampire slasher flick Slayers has been released!

Thomas Jane, Kara Hayward, Jack Donnelly, Lydia Hearst, Malin Akerman, and Abigail Breslin all star in the new movie from director K. Asher Levin.

Here’s the synopsis: “Kick-ass vampire slayer, Elliot Jones (Jane), made it his life’s mission to take revenge on the bloodsuckers who murdered his teenage daughter. After years of tracking them, he has finally reached their secret and hidden base. But to get to them he will need to use a motley crew of social media superstars. Enter ‘The Stream Team’: party-girl Jules (Breslin), gen-z pro-gamer Flynn (Hayward) and their team of trend-makers and breakers! With a hundred million-plus combined followers, they have attracted the attention of reclusive billionaire Beverly Rektor (Akerman), who invites them to party at her multimillion-dollar vacation compound. They soon discover these rich people are none other than the ancient vampires that Elliot Jones is chasing. When the team is being held captive in a house of horrors to serve the vampires plan to take over the world, Elliott is their only hope of survival. Nicole Kidman has a slightly unusual obsession in Apple TV+ anthology series, Roar – she eats pictures!

The 54-year-old actress and executive producer is seen alongside Betty Gilpin, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie, Issa Rae and many more in the series, which will debut on April 15.

Here’s a summary: Based on the book by best-selling author Cecelia Ahern, Roar explores female experiences that many women have but rarely talk about. Through these 8 stories, each episode uses magical realism and delivers an insightful, poignant, and sometimes hilarious portrait of what it means to be a woman today.

Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart, Kara Hayward, Daniel Dae Kim, Jake Johnson, Jillian Bell, Nick Kroll, Hugh Dancy, Alfred Molina, and Peter Facinelli also star in the show.

Malin Akerman and Hilary Swank walk the carpet at premieres of their movies during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Friday (January 25) in Park City, Utah.

Malin stepped out at The Ray for the premiere of To The Stars. She was joined by her co-stars Shea Whigham, Jordana Spiro, Liana Liberato, Kara Hayward, Adelaide Clemens, Tony Hale, Lucas Jade Zumann, Madisen Beaty, and Sophi Bairley.

Ben Affleck is dapper in a suit while attending the premiere of Manchester By The Sea held at Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Monday (November 14) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 44-year-old actor showed his support for his bestie Matt Damon, who produced the flick, as well as his brother Casey, who stars in the film alongside Michelle Williams, Lucas Hedges, Matthew Broderick, Kara Hayward and Anna Baryshnikov.

Aja Naomi King rocks a leather skirt while attending Variety’s 10 To Watch Brunch and Panel during the 2016 Hamptons International Film Festival at Nick & Toni’s on Saturday (October 8) East Hampton, New York.

The 31-year-old actress was joined at the event by Riz Ahmed, Mahershala Ali, and Kara Hayward, as well as screenwriter Jenelle Riley.

Aja stepped out in a purple dress the day before to promote her film The Birth of a Nation on Good Morning America, opening up about how much her role in the historical drama means to her.

“It’s pretty insane,” she told GMA. “Being a part of telling a story that is so crucial to understand about our history as black people in this country … it’s just so necessary and such a very visceral way for me and I’m just so grateful that I got to take on this part.”
