Angelina Jolie has been spotted on the set of her upcoming Maria!

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actress was seen in character as the late opera singer Maria Callas on Wednesday (October 11) in Paris, France.

Angelina was joined by co-star Kodi Smit-McPhee while filming a scene at the Palais-Royal. Later in the day, she wore another costume while shooting a difference scene.

It was announced back in October 2022 that Angelina would be starring in director Pablo Larrain‘s new biopic, which is said to trace the opera singer’s life through her death in 1977.

“I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy. I will give all I can to meet the challenge,” Angelina said about the opportunity. “Pablo Larraín is a director I have long admired. To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”

Manu Rios and Tom Daley mirrored each other in similar, body baring outfits at the Ami Alexandre Mattiussi Menswear Spring/Summer 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (June 22) in Paris, France.

The 24-year-old Elite star wore a pair of dark short shorts with a flowing white top that was left unbuttoned to expose a good portion of his chest. He finished off his look with high socks and patent leather shoes.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Olympian wore a dark top with long sleeves and a turtleneck. Despite being so covered up, the shirt was sheer and showed off his toned chest and abs. He finished off his look with wide-legged white pants and his own pair of black shoes.

Taylor Zakhar Perez just got everyone’s attention!

The Red, White & Royal Blue star turned heads as he stepped out of his car, shirtless, while arriving for the Prada Spring/Summer Menswear fashion show in Milan, Italy, on Monday (June 19).

While Taylor went shirtless for his arrival, he did put on a black suit jacket to go with his green pants before entering the fashion presentation.

Taylor was joined at the event by Harris Dickinson, Snowfall‘s Damson Idris, Omar Sy, Giveon, Louis Partridge, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and The Idol‘s Troye Sivan.

Kentaro Sakaguchi, Jaehyun, Ruben Östlund, Blake Grey, Li Xian, Kim Taeri, Mahmood, and Kiara Nirghin were also spotted at the event.

Kodi Smit-McPhee is engaged to longtime girlfriend and fellow Australian Rebecca Phillipou!

The 26-year-old Oscar-nominated actor popped the question on a rooftop in their hometown of Melbourne, Australia on Friday (December 2).

“She was so shocked and surprised, but completely over the moon,” our source tells us after Kodi slipped an impressive rock on her ring finger. “They’ve been a couple for almost nine years and after purchasing a home together last month, they are ready to take the next step in life together.”

Our source added, “Kodi had a beautiful rooftop covered with gorgeous all-white flower arrangements, pink flower petal confetti and large white marquee letters spelling out M-A-R-R-Y M-E. Looking out onto the Melbourne skyline, he got down on one knee and proposed. It was such a precious moment.”

Kodi started acting as a child making his film debut in Romulus, My Father (2007) with Eric Bana. He played Viggo Mortensen’s son in the post-apocalyptic drama The Road (2009), co-starred alongside Chloe Moretz in the horror film Let Me In (2010) and with Michael Fassbender in the Western, Slow West (2015). Kodi played Nightcrawler in Marvel’s X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019). He earned Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for playing the son of Kirsten Dunst and co-starring alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in The Power of the Dog (2021) written and directed by Jane Campion.

Kodi Smit-McPhee suits up for the Instagram Met Gala after-party held at the James B. Duke House on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The 25-year-old Oscar nominee wore a custom Bottega Veneta look including thigh-high woven-leather boots.

“We really wanted to swing for the fences with the after-party footwear,” Kodi told Vogue. “The craftsmanship is insane: They’re inspired by combat military boots and fisherman boots. The look is totally business up top, and then a party down below.”

In keeping with the MET Gala’s gilded glamour theme, attendees gathered inside the Gilded Age mansion with DJs @cocoandbreezy and Anderson Paak, who took the stage before the evening’s special guest performer. Past midnight, SZA performed for Instagram’s creators and community beneath the grand hall’s chandeliers.

Also in attendance was Sabrina Carpenter and Awkwafina.

The 25-year-old actor wore a buttondown shirt, “jeans”, boots and gloves from Bottega Veneta, which are all surprisingly made out of leather. He accessorized with Cartier jewelry, tying in the Gilded Glamour theme.

“Many people don’t know this but the Gilded Age is when the blue jeans were invented,” Kodi shared. “My look is a celebration of the casual Friday look in America and the diversity of people and cultures that contributed to make America.”

He added, “And of course my look is a tribute to classic Americana and the American flag, tying in the red, white and blue color theme. The Cartier broach is vintage and adds the perfect amount of extravagance.”

The 25-year-old actor was joined by girlfriend Rebecca Phillipou at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Kodi is up for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the Netflix movie The Power of the Dog.
