The beloved series What We Do in the Shadows is ending after the upcoming sixth season.
The FX comedy series was previously renewed for seasons five and six back in June 2022 and now the series is heading into the final season, according to Vulture.
What We Do in the Shadows is a spinoff of the 2014 movie of the same name by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.

Amazon Studios has ordered a sequel to the 2020 movie My Spy, which starred Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman.
The original film follows JJ a hardened CIA operative (Bautista) who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, named Sophie (Coleman) where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family. When Sophie discovers hidden cameras in her apartment, she uses her tech savviness to locate where the surveillance operation is set. In exchange for not blowing JJ’s cover Sophie convinces him to spend time with her and teach her to be a spy. Despite his reluctance JJ finds he is no match for Sophie’s disarming charm and wit.
Four of the main stars of the first movie have been confirmed to return and three actors are joining the cast.
Deadline reports that in the sequel, “a now teenage Sophie convinces JJ to chaperone her school choir trip to Italy where they both unwittingly end up pawns in an international terrorist plot targeting CIA Chief, David Kim and his son, Collin — who also happens to be Sophie’s best friend.”

Lots of celebrities stepped out to attend the opening night performance of comedian Mike Birbiglia‘s new one-man show The Old Man and the Pool.
Alison Brie and Ewan McGregor were among the celebs in attendance at the performance at Center Theatre Group’s Mark Taper Forum on Wednesday (August 3) in Los Angeles.
Alison was joined by friend Cyrina Fiallo while Ewan was joined by his daughter Clara McGregor and agent Rich Klubeck. More stars pictured in the gallery include Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, Kristen Schaal, Rachel Bloom and former Crazy Ex Girlfriend co-star Danny Jolles, and Kate Micucci.
Also in attendance, though not pictured here, were Jimmy Kimmel, Fred Armisen, and Nick Kroll.
The Old Man and the Pool is “a tale of life, death and a highly chlorinated YMCA pool. With his unique form of comedic storytelling, Birbiglia chronicles a coming-of-middle-age story that asks the big questions: Why are we here? What’s next? And what happens when the items at the doctor’s office that you thought were decorative become quite useful.” The play is running through August 28.

The popular animated series Bob’s Burgers is heading to the big screen with The Bob’s Burgers Movie!
The highly-anticipated film is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy-winning series, which is currently in the middle of its 12th season on Fox.
The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

With the uncertainty surrounding movie theaters amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Bill and Ted Face the Music is the latest movie that will be released in theaters and on demand.
The new release date for the movie is set for September 1, and a new trailer has also been released along with this news.
