Disney+’s The Santa Clauses is filling up its cast list!

The streaming network just revealed that actress Laura San Giacomo will be joining the series as a very interesting, and unique, character for the forthcoming show.

The upcoming sequel series picks up as Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole.

With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

Shia LaBeouf got a standing ovation at the premiere of his new film Honey Boy!

The 32-year-old actor shared the autobiographical film during Sundance Film Festival on Friday afternoon (January 25) at Eccles Center Theatre in Park City, Utah.

He was joined by director Alma Har’el as well as his cast mates Laura San Giacomo, FKA Twigs, Clifton Collins Jr., Byron Bowers, Noah Jupe and Craig Stark.

The film, which Shia wrote and starred in, follows Shia‘s life at the height of his Disney fame and his strained relationship with his alcoholic father.

“It’s strange to fetishize your pain and make a product out of it. And you feel guilty about that. It felt very selfish. This whole thing felt very selfish. I never went into this thinking, ‘Oh let me f**ing help people.’ That wasn’t my goal. I was falling apart,” Shia said on stage, according to Variety.

Shia also added that since the film’s wrap, he has reconnected with his father for the first time in over six years.

The 47-year-old actress is joined by her co-stars Richard Gere, Hector Elizondo, Laura San Giacomo, and director Garry Marshall in an interview that is set to air next Tuesday, March 24.

The classic 1990 romantic comedy followed a man (Gere) who needed an escort for some social events, and hires a beautiful prostitute (Roberts) he meets…only to fall in love.

Julia received a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her role in the film.
