Dylan Mulvaney is opening up about those candid comments that Laverne Cox made to her at the Grammys and how she’s changed her TikTok posting strategy because of the advice.
The 26-year-old TikTok star, who just celebrated 365 days of being a girl, met fellow transgender icon Laverne in early February.
Dylan revealed in a video that Laverne was on her vision board for 2023 and that she was so happy to meet her.

Laverne Cox is one of the first stars to arrive on the red carpet at the Oscars!
The 50-year-old Orange Is the New Black actress, who is now the host of E! Live on the Red Carpet, walked the carpet at the 2023 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 12) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Laverne said on Instagram that she is channeling an “Ethereal Bladerunner” look tonight on the carpet. We always love seeing what she is going to wear!

Machine Gun Kelly gave a very vulnerable interview on the red carpet at the Grammys and host Laverne Cox is explaining why she was so caught off guard.
The 32-year-old entertainer was nominated for Best Rock Album, but lost to Ozzy Osbourne at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 5) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
“Ultimately, I’m really happy to be in the company of such great musicians,” he said on E! News. “I didn’t take the category home, and I almost feel like I asked for that lesson. I felt like I lacked self-love and was valuing myself so much on career accomplishments that I needed this. Once that self-love happens for me, things like the awards and all that will come.”
Laverne responded to him, “The reward is actually getting to be an artist, and getting to do the thing that you love.”

Laverne Cox is back as the host of E! Live from the Red Carpet!
The 50-year-old actress and entertainer glammed up on the carpet at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 5) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The Grammys will be hosted by Trevor Noah for the third year in a row. Beyonce leads the nominations with nine nods and you can check out the full list here. The show will be broadcast live on CBS starting at 8pm ET / 5pm PT and you can stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
