Melissa McCarthy is helping us get into the holiday spirit!

Peacock has debuted the first trailer for the upcoming movie Genie, starring the 53-year-old Oscar-nominated actress and Paapa Essiedu.

From Oscar-nominated screenwriter Richard Curtis and director Sam Boyd comes Genie, “a holiday fairytale comedy about a genie, a man, and landing one last chance to fix the mess you’ve made of your life. With his job, life and family unraveling around him, a despondent Bernard (Essiedu) dusts off a jewelry box and unintentionally releases genie Flora (McCarthy), who just might be able to help him. Maybe. It’s a longshot, frankly. In the process, Flora and Bernard will discover that love, and an unexpected friendship, can unleash a special holiday magic all its own.”

The cast of Wednesday is getting back together again!

Jenna Ortega, Gwendoline Christie, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman attended the ATAS Official Event Photo Call at Hollywood Forever on Saturday (April 29) in Hollywood, Calif.

The castmates – who played Wednesday, Larissa Weems, and Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively – posed together for photos at the event and appeared very happy about reuniting.

Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore are proving they’re Adam Sandler‘s biggest fans!

The two frequent co-stars of Adam stepped out for the 2023 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Sunday (March 19) at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, D.C., where Adam was being honored.

Jennifer and Drew were also joined by Adam‘s wife, Jackie, Steve Buscemi, Chris Rock, Nikki Glaser, Ben Stiller, Idina Menzel, Luis Guzman, and Dana Carvey.

The prize is given to those who have shown a profound influence on American comedy.

“Adam Sandler has entertained audiences for over three decades with his films, music, and his tenure as a fan favorite cast member on SNL,” Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter said in a statement. “Adam has created characters that have made us laugh, cry, and cry from laughing. I am looking forward to a laughter-filled evening like no other as we celebrate his career at a ceremony that is sure to bring together the best in comedy.”

The ceremony will actually air on CNN next weekend, March 26, and will also be available to stream live for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN OTT and mobile apps, or CNNgo.

Jennifer and Adam actually just returned from Paris, where they premiered their newest movie, Murder Mystery 2.

Peacock recently debuted the trailer for the 43-year-old actress’ new comedic mystery series Poker Face, created, written, directed, and executive produced by Rian Johnson.

Luis Guzmán is opening up about his filmography.

The 66-year-old Wednesday actor opened up in a new interview about his films and iconic roles, and he revealed that he’s recognized most for a role he never actually played.

In a conversation on The Rich Eisen Show, Luis revealed he has constantly been confused for the late Rick Aviles, who played Willie Lopez in the film Ghost.
