David Henrie is a dad – again!

The 31-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place actor and his wife Maria Cahill welcomed their second child into the world on Christmas night. They are also the parents of a 21-month-old daughter named Pia.

“CHRISTMAS BABY!!! Y’all… WHAT A NIGHT! James Thomas Augustine Emanuel Henrie was born at 9:33pm on December 25th 2020 weighing 8lbs 13oz,” David wrote on his Instagram page along with James‘ first photos.

He continued, “My wife is a superhero and was able to achieve her goal of having a drug free birth. I’m so proud of her! Aside from sharing the stage with none other then Jesus, He blessed us in a special way by giving us James on this date because it was December 25th 2019 that we had our fourth miscarriage. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, they paid off in a massive way. MERRY CHRISTMAS :) ps it started snowing as he was being pushed out. Crazy!!!”

Before the birth, David took to Instagram to share Maria‘s birth plan and how she wanted to have a natural birth.

Maria Shriver made it a family event while hosting the 2019 Move for Minds!

The 63-year-old journalist was joined by daughters Christina and Katherine Schwarzengger and son Patrick Schwarzenegger at the event thrown by The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement and Equinox Fitness Clubs on Saturday afternoon (November 2) art the Equinox Sports Club in Los Angeles.

Other stars at the event included Seth Rogen and wife Lauren Miller, Orange is the New Black actress Jackie Cruz, The Hills star Whitney Port, celeb chef Giada De Laurentiis, Sean Hayes and husband Scott Icenogle, singer Sugar Ray Leonard, Grey’s Anatomy actress Debbie Allen, and Wizards of Waverly Place actor David Henrie with wife Maria Cahill and daughter Pia.

Move for Minds is an annual fundraiser that brings together a diverse and powerful group of experts in brain health, as well as voices of those directly impacted by Alzheimer’s. It is an annual initiative of non-profit organization The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, and all funds raised are used to support women-based Alzheimer’s research.

David Henrie and Maria Cahill are officially married – and Selena Gomez attended their wedding!

The 27-year-old actor and Maria, former Miss Delaware and teacher, tied the knot in Old Hollywood-inspired ceremony on Friday (April 21) in Los Angeles.

David and Selena played brother and sister on the Disney show. She and other Wizards of Waverly Place wedding guests – including Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, David Deluise, and Maria Canals-Barrera – reportedly all sat on a table together. (via People)

David shared, “[Selena] was one of the first people I told I was getting married. She was like, ‘I’m in. Whenever it is, I’ll be there.’”

He added that Selena was originally going to perform on the big day. “As it got closer, I was like ‘No, just relax and enjoy the evening,’” he explained. “But it very well might [happen spontaneously].”

Selena and David last got together in January for her first Instagram story.
