The stars of The Resident – Bruce Greenwood, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Matt Czurchry, Emily VanCamp, and Manish Dayal – gather at the Fox All-Star Party held during 2018 Upfronts Week on Monday (May 14) at Central Park’s Wollman Rink in New York City.

There were so many stars from Fox shows in attendance at the event to promote the upcoming seasons!

The Orville‘s Seth MacFarlane, Halston Sage, Jessica Szohr, Mark Jackson, J. Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, and Peter Macon were all there. Jessica is joining the show as a series regular for season two.

Also in attendance were Last Man Standing‘s Tim Allen, Gotham‘s Cory Michael Smith and Robin Lord Taylor, and The Gifted‘s Stephen Moyer, Jamie Chung, Skyler Samuels, Amy Acker, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind, Emma Dumont, Sean Teale, Coby Bell, and Percy Hynes White.

Seth MacFarlane takes the stage at the The Orville panel at 2018 PaleyFest on Saturday (March 17) in Hollywood.

The 44-year-old actor, singer, writer, and director was joined by his cast mates Halston Sage and Adrianne Palicki to talk about their Fox show.

Also in attendance were co-stars J. Lee, Peter Macon, Scott Grimes, Mark Jackson, Penny Johnson Jerald, and Chad Coleman.

The Orville has recently begun production on season two, but no premiere date has been set yet. Seth previously said that it will be out later this year.

The show has also added Chris Johnson and Jessica Szohr to the cast for the second season.

Seth MacFarlane is getting his red carpet glamour on at the PaleyFest Fall TV Previews!

The 43-year-old actor and filmmaker joined the cast of the The Orville, Seth‘s new FOX comedy-drama science fiction TV series, on the red carpet on Wednesday (September 13) at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Seth was joined on the red carpet by the cast and crew of his show, including executive producer David Goodman and co-stars Mark Jackson, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, Penny Johnson Jerald, J. Lee, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes.

The Orville airs on Thursdays on FOX.

Earlier in the day, the cast attend the Fox panel to talk about the new show and Seth explained how the series is breaking new ground.

“The show is seeking to break a bit of new ground, tonally,” Seth said (via THR). “It’s not something that has been done on TV in recent years, at least in the hourlong format … we really do see it as a sci-fi comedic drama. We allow ourselves room for levity in the ways that a traditional hourlong show doesn’t.”

The actors, along with cast members Mark Jackson, J. Lee, Penny Johnson Jerald, Chad L. Coleman, Scott Grimes, and Peter Macon, debuted new footage from the upcoming Fox comedy series.

The Orville is being described as a mix between Seth‘s show Family Guy and the beloved series Galaxy Quest. Some people are also considering it a Star Trek parody!

Officially, the show is “a one-hour science fiction series set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of the U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory vessel. Its crew, both human and alien, faces the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of regular people in a workplace…even though some of those people are from other planets, and the workplace is a faster-than-light spaceship.”

The Orville premieres on Fox on September 10.
