Jason Momoa brought the best plus one to the premiere of his new movie Slumberland – a stuffed pig!

The 43-year-old actor carried the stuffed animal in honor of the toy in the film, and his new pet feral pig, which he adopted from the film.

“my new friend LAU LAU. or MANAPUA. we haven’t decided yet,” Jason introduced the new member of his family to fans on Instagram earlier this week. “This is why i can’t work with animals i want to bring them home. wild and feral like his pops.”

Jason added in a cute note to co-star Marlow Barkley, “@marlowbarkley look what i found. hopefully u meet him mr MANAPUA slumberland premiere.”

She responded, “Ahhhh, I LOVE him! Please bring him! I won’t tell pig!”

Jason and Marlow were joined by co-stars India de Beaufort and Kyle Chandler at the premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 9).

Ryan Reynolds hits the red carpet with Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer for the premiere of their new holiday film, Spirited.

The three actors were joined by co-stars Sunita Mani, Aimee Carrero, Marlow Barkley, Jen Tullock, and Patrick Page at the event held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday (November 7) in New York City.

Patrick‘s wife, Paige Davis, Tracy Morgan, Brooke Shields, and Molly Ringwald, along with their families also attended.

Speaking with ET at the premiere, Ryan opened up about learning to sing and dance for the Apple TV+ movie.

“As I’ve gotten older I’m more comfortable sucking at stuff. I really do believe that you can’t really be good at something unless you’re willing to suck at it,” he shared.

Ryan added some tips about the dancing, too: “Just start off slow, and then you move onto smooth, and then you can start to go fast. We just were patient.”

The 43-year-old actor hit the stage next to co-star Marlow Barkley, with a small bag of popcorn and a drink ahead of the screening in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 14).

Here’s a summary of the movie: Slumberland takes audiences to a magical new place, a dreamworld where precocious Nemo (Barkley) and her eccentric companion Flip (Momoa) embark on the adventure of a lifetime. After her father Peter (Kyle Chandler) is unexpectedly lost at sea, young Nemo’s idyllic Pacific Northwest existence is completely upended when she is sent to live in the city with her well-meaning but deeply awkward uncle Phillip (Chris O’Dowd).

Her new school and new routine are challenging by day but at night, a secret map to the fantastical world of Slumberland connects Nemo to Flip, a rough-around-the-edges but lovable outlaw who quickly becomes her partner and guide. She and Flip soon find themselves on an incredible journey traversing dreams and fleeing nightmares, where Nemo begins to hope that she will be reunited with her father once again.
