Tiffany Haddish hits the red carpet in a feathered outfit as she arrives at the 2019 Wearable Art Gala on Saturday night (June 1) at The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Sana Monica, Calif.

The 39-year-old actress walked the red carpet alongside hosts Tina Knowles-Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson.

Other guests at the event included Richard‘s daughter Bianca Lawson and Solange Knowles‘ 14-year-old son Julez Smith and his dad Daniel Smith.

Stars at the event included Jesse Williams, Tyler Perry, Chloe X Halle, Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Lena Waithe, former How to Get Away with Murder actor Kendrick Sampson, Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya, Magic Johnson and wife Cookie, and Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie.

The theme of this year’s gala is “A Journey to the Pride Lands,” in honor of Disney’s upcoming CGI remake of The Lion King, which Tina‘s daughter Beyoncé stars as Nala.

Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton are all smiles as they hit the blue carpet for the premiere of The Sun is Also a Star on Monday night (May 13) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old donned a blue, sparkling dress over a pair of jeans while the 28-year-old actor sported a dark navy suit for the premiere of their new movie.

Charles was also joined at the premiere by his girlfriend and Riverdale co-star Camila Mendes.

Yara was supported at the event by her black-ish co-stars Marcus Schribner, Miles Brown, and Marsai Martin along with her grown-ish co-stars Francia Raisa and Chloe X Halle.

Other stars at the premiere included A Wrinkle in Time actress Storm Reid, Disney Channel star Laura Marano, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms actress Mackenzie Foy, and model Larsen Thompson.

The Sun is Also a Star hits theaters on Friday, May 17.

Shailene Woodley wears her hair up while attending the Prada Resort 2020 fashion show held at Piano Factory at Prada Headquarters on Thursday (May 2) in New York City.

The 27-year-old actress was joined at the presentation by Hailee Steinfeld.

Also in attendance were Bonnie Wright, Stranger Things co-stars Natalia Dyer and Sadie Sink, Storm Reid, Marsai Martin, Elle Fanning, and Dane DeHaan.

Issa Rae, Marsai Martin, and Regina Hall pose for a group photo while attending the 2019 BeautyCon Festival New York held at Jacob Javits Center on Saturday (April 6) in New York City.

The cast of Little was in attendance to talk about bringing their black girl magic on the big screen in the upcoming comedy.

If you didn’t know, Marsai is now the youngest Executive Producer on a major Hollywood motion picture in history for executive producing Little.

Also in attendance was Marsai‘s black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi, who joined Noor Tagouri in a conversation about fighting the fear of being yourself.
