Hilary Duff‘s husband Matthew Koma trolled a fan who asked if he was recording new music with his wife.

If you didn’t know, Matthew is a writer, producer and musician who has crafted bops for the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen, Shania Twain, Pink, Britney Spears and, yes, his wife.

A couple weeks ago, Hilary took to social media to share some pics of the couple from a trip to Ojai, Calif.

“YOU +sleep+other things we did+ food+tennis+ Ojai = ☄️,” she captioned the post. A fan took to the comments section to ask if one of the mystery things included “writing a new pop dance album,” and Matthew delivered a hilarious response.

The 34-year-old How I Met Your Father actress and the 35-year-old musician held hands as they stopped by Joan’s on Third for breakfast on Wednesday morning (September 21) in Studio City, Calif.

For their outing, Hilary sported a tan cardigan over a white tank shirt paired with ripped jeans while Matt wore a denim jacket over a brown T-shirt and olive-colored pants while wearing a gray hat.
