Elle Fanning and Max Minghella hold hands after having dinner at a downtown restaurant on Saturday night (May 4) in New York City.

The cute couple hopped on the subway after dinner to head back to their hotel uptown.

Elle, 21, and Max, 33, were also spotted walking around the city together the next day during a rainy afternoon.

The couple met while working on the new film Teen Spirit, which is currently playing in theaters. They’ve spent the past week together in New York City and we hope to see them at the Met Gala!

The 21-year-old actress was joined for the outing by her rumored beau Max Minghella.

The night before, the pair attended the Prada Resort 2020 fashion show, though they did not take any photos together. They were also seen out together earlier that day.

Elle is getting ready to attend this year’s Met Gala. She looked gorgeous in a Miu Miu gown the last time she attended in 2017.

“Met Ball Monday Flashback to my first time attending the gala! We’re getting closer…” she captioned a photo of her outfit from her first Met Gala.

Max Minghella is officially coming out of the closet as a major fan of Korean pop sensation BTS!

While making an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday (April 15) alongside Karlie Kloss, the 33-year-old Teen Spirit star dished all about attenuating a BTS concert with his best bud Dylan O’Brien.

“It was amazing. It’s astonishing, I don’t know how they do it. They’re amazing performers,” Max expressed. “I went with my best friend Dylan O’Brien, who is a bit sort of a teen-heartthrob, and we were very worried that he was going to get recognized. We wore very elaborate costumes. I love BTS.”

James then tested Max‘s fan knowledge with questions like “what does BTS stand for?,” “which member is this?”

Elle Fanning is all smiles while heading into Craig’s restaurant for her 21st birthday celebration on Tuesday night (April 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The actress was joined by Max Minghella, who she was rumored to be dating last year.

Max directed Elle in the movie Teen Spirit, which hits theaters this weekend. They have been hard at work promoting the film this week and will be in attendance at screenings this weekend at the ArcLight Hollywood.

Elle‘s older sister Dakota Fanning took to Instagram to celebrate the big day.

“21 TODAY @ellefanning! Hard for me to believe. It feels like yesterday that I woke up in the little cot next to Mom in the hospital, and asked ‘What is it?’ Meaning did I have a new baby brother or sister? As we know, I had a sister, and my life got better in that instant,” she wrote. “I will always be there to zip up your dress (and maybe hold your hair back tonight 😉 just kidding!!) and help you in every way I can. I LOVE YOU!”

The 33-year-old actor – who produced the film – kept things cool in a black bomber jacket over a white T-shirt while the 36-year-old actress dressed her growing baby bump in a black dress for the premiere.
