Maya Rudolph Addresses Calls for 'Bridesmaids' Sequel, Reveals Her Opinion

Maya Rudolph is the latest star to address calls for a sequel to her hit movie Bridesmaids.

The female-led 2011 comedy was a breakout hit in the genre and was expected to herald a generation of similar films.

In the years since it premiered, many have hoped for a sequel to catch up with the characters. However, costar Kristen Wiig recently made it clear that one was not in the works and likely never would be. Following her revelation, Maya revealed what she thought about the possibility.

So many celebrities were in attendance at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner ahead of the 2024 Academy Awards!

The event was held on Saturday (March 9) at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Nominees spotted at the dinner include Margot Robbie, Colman Domingo, Robert De Niro, America Ferrera, Celine Song, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Sandra Huller, and Justine Triet.

We’re days away from the 2024 Oscars and a bunch of stars stepped out to attend W Magazine and Louis Vuitton‘s celebration of the Academy Awards!

Best Actress nominees Emma Stone and Sandra Huller, Best Supporting Actress nominees America Ferrera and Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Best Original Screenplay nominee Justine Triet, and Best Original Song nominee Finneas were all in attendance at the event on Thursday (March 7) at Ennis House in Los Angeles.

More stars who attended included Zendaya, Barry Keoghan, Steven Yeun, Lana Del Rey, Haim, and more.

Throughout the evening guests dined on a special menu curated by the award-winning Chef Michael Cimarusti of Providence LA, sipped on specialty cocktails and danced to the DJ set by Ross One.

'The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy' Voice Cast - 6 Stars Revealed for New Prime Video Series!

The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy is premiering on Prime Video on Friday (February 23)!

Per Amazon, the show follows Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak—aliens, best friends, and intergalactically renowned surgeons—as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs.

In Season One, doctors Sleech and Klak take on a highly dangerous and potentially groundbreaking case and, in doing so, put existence itself in jeopardy. Although considering their dismal personal lives, oblivion might be an improvement.

The series features a bunch of stars voicing the characters as well!

Apple TV+ Reveals 'Loot' Season 2 Premiere Date, Plus New Plot Details!

Maya Rudolph‘s acclaimed comedy series Loot is returning for a second season on Apple TV+ and the streamer has finally revealed new details about what we can expect.

The second season will begin streaming on April 3 with the first two episodes and new episodes will debut every Wednesday through May 29.

Apple TV+ shared the first photos from the new season along with plot details, including a new love interest for Micahela Jae Rodriguez‘s character Sofia.
