Alyson Hannigan gets some help from her friends after almost drowning for a scene in the television remake of the movie The First Wives Club on Friday (July 15) in Malibu, Calif.

The actress was joined for the scene by her co-stars Megan Hilty and Vanessa Lachey.

The upcoming remake is being made by TV Land. It is “set in present-day San Francisco and the story revolves around three women – friends and classmates in the ’90s – who reconnect after their close friend from college dies in a freak accident. When they discover that they are all at a romantic crossroads, they band together to tackle divorce, relationships and life’s other annoying challenges,” according to Deadline.

Vanessa Lachey will be starring alongside the previously announced Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty in the upcoming television remake of the classic movie The First Wives Club!

The TV Land series, which is only in the pilot phase at the moment, will be set in the present day and take place in San Francisco.

The story will revolve around “three women (Lachey, Hannigan, Hilty) who were friends and classmates in the ’90s and reconnect after their close friend from college dies in a freak accident,” according to Variety.

Vanessa‘s role is “Sasha, a driven and successful chef in San Francisco. She has it all – a hot restaurant and a great girlfriend who she plans to marry. But when she reconnects with her old friends after the death of their college roommate, she realizes she may not be as ready to settle down as she thought.”

The stars of Broadway have come together to perform a live rendition of “What The World Needs Now Is Love” on Maya and Marty on Tuesday evening (June 21) following its official release in the wake of the tragic shooting that cost 49 people their lives and countless others injury at Orlando’s Pulse gay nightclub.

Megan Hilty hits the red carpet with her husband Brian Gallagher while attending Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour On Broadway Opening Night Celebration held at the Lyric Theatre on Wednesday (May 25) in New York City.

The happy couple were joined at the event by Chicago Med‘s Colin Donnell and his wife Patti Murin, David Burtka, Clay Aiken, Brooke Shields, Christopher J. Hanke, Ivanka Trump and Gretchen Mol.

Emilia Clarke hits the red carpet with Sam Claflin at the premiere of their new movie Me Before You on Monday (May 23) at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.

The 29-year-old stars of the film coupled up at the premiere as they celebrated their movie’s debut.

Also in attendance were Megan Hilty, Nolan Funk, Katie Lee, Ramona Singer, Cory Michael Smith, Kelly Bensimon, Billy Magnussen and Jay Manuel.
