Vanessa Morgan is opening up about the birth of her son!

The 28-year-old Riverdale actress revealed that she and estranged husband Michael Kopech, 24, welcomed their baby boy River into the world on January 29.

“The most challenging, beautiful experience of my life. On January 29th, Michael & I Welcomed our beautiful baby boy River into the world,” Vanessa said.

She continued, “Words cannot describe this kind of love. We are enjoying this time home with him, being present, & giving him all the lovin in the world🤍👶🏼 Becoming parents is the most rewarding gift in the entire world. Thankyou God. 🙏🏽 Isaiah 66:9.”

Vanessa also shared the first photo of her son, which just gave a peek at his tiny hand. You can see the image below.

Vanessa Morgan is a mom!

The 28-year-old Riverdale actress welcomed a baby boy with her estranged husband Michael Kopech, E! News confirms.

“Vanessa had the baby, and Michael is with her as well,” a source revealed. “They’re both thrilled.”

As of right now, Vanessa and 24-year-old pro baseball player have not revealed their son’s name. It’s also unclear when she gave birth.

Vanessa first announced back in July 2020 that she was pregnant with her first child. Just three days later, Vanessa and Michael shocked fans when it was revealed that Michael had filed for divorce a month earlier.

Vanessa and Michael married in an intimate ceremony in Florida back in January 2020.

Ahead of the Riverdale season five premiere earlier this month, it was revealed that Vanessa‘s pregnancy would be written into the show.

Vanessa Morgan‘s baby boy is growing!

The Riverdale actress shared a sonogram with her fans on social media, showing off the baby’s foot taking over the shot.

“He’s a lil kicker,” she wrote on Twitter, with the cute hashtag of bigfoot.

Just last month, Vanessa made the announcement that she was expecting her first child, and revealed the gender at the same time with a fun video on her social channels.

However, a few days later, it was also revealed that Vanessa‘s estranged White Sox pitcher husband, Michael Kopech, had filed for divorce from her.

No other information is known about the reason Michael filed, with the case being sealed in Northeast Texas.

If you missed the news, Vanessa announced she is pregnant with a baby boy due early next year. Just after her pregnancy news was announced, it was revealed that Vanessa‘s husband, MLB player Michael Kopech, had filed for divorce after around six months of marriage.

One troll commented on Vanessa‘a pregnancy announcement post, “Don’t disrespect our pitcher like that.”

Madelaine took to the comments and defended Vanessa, saying, “Honestly if I see one more comment like this I’ll lose it. Vanessa is a beautiful mother to be and the hate and disrespect I’m seeing on this post about her bringing a new life into this world is disgusting.”

Just a few weeks ago, Madelaine addressed another controversy that involved some of her Riverdale co-stars.

Michael Kopech has filed papers for divorce from Vanessa Morgan, the Chicago Tribune reports.

According to the player, the White Sox baseball player filed documents back in June in northeast Texas. No other information is known about why he filed for divorce from Vanessa, as the case has been sealed.

Vanessa and Michael got married at the start of the year in Miami, and she just announced that she was expecting a baby, although Michael seemed to be absent from the gender reveal video.

“I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January 💙,” Vanessa shared with her fans on social media.

A rep for Vanessa did confirm that Michael is the father of the baby, but his team was unavailable for comment on the situation.

The 28-year-old Riverdale actress, who plays Toni Topaz on the CW series, just announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Michael Kopech.

Vanessa took to Instagram to share some cute content from her gender reveal party – and they are going to have a baby boy!

“Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly & I wanted you guys to hear it from me 🥰,” Vanessa wrote on Instagram.

“I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January 💙 It’s almost like everything I thought mattered in this life has completely changed,” she continued. “We’re here for such a greater purpose and life is so precious. I can’t believe how much growth & strength you’ve already given me as your mom. It’s like God knew I needed you, my angel. The universe works in mysterious ways but always times everything the way it was meant to be.”

“Lil one you were made with so much love & already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Vanessa and Michael were married at the beginning of this year in Florida.

The 27-year-old Riverdale star and the 23-year-old MLB player exchanged vows in front of their loved ones in an intimate ceremony at the Historic Walton House on Saturday (January 4) in Homestead, Fla., E! News reports.

About 40 guests attended, including Vanessa‘s Riverdale co-stars Skeet Ulrich, Drew Tanner, and Madelaine Petsch. Vanessa‘s sister Celina was her maid of honor.

“We both knew the first day we met that ‘this is it’ and I’m so excited that today officially starts our forever,” Vanessa told the outlet. “Today, I vowed to love my best friend for a lifetime and it was a day spent with those we love in a room filled with endless love. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”

Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech got engaged during Fourth of July weekend last year.
