A Quiet Place II‘s final trailer just debuted a few weeks ahead of the release date!

The John Krasinski-directed film has been delayed so many times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’re so glad it will finally be released on May 28, 2021!

Here’s the synopsis: Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou have also joined the cast for this sequel.

John Krasinski is praising his wife Emily Blunt!

While walking the red carpet with his wife Emily Blunt at the New York premiere of their new film, A Quiet Place Part II, the 40-year-old actor couldn’t help but share his admiration for his 37-year-old leading lady.

“She is without a doubt the most tremendous actress of our time in my opinion,” John expressed (via ET). “She is the most incredible partner in writing and directing and set designs. She just has such good ideas. So I actually felt like I had my partner in all things on set, not just the best actress in the world.”

“Anything I can think of, she makes 10 times better so that’s a pretty good weapon to have on set,” John concluded.

Following their big premiere, Emily Blunt switched out of the red dress she wore on the red carpet to her hubby-director John Krasinski and their co-stars Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou at the A Quiet Place Part II held at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park.

FYI: Emily is wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress, Schutz shoes, David Yurman jewelry and Alexander McQueen clutch. John is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana suit and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski make one picture perfect couple as they arrive at the A Quiet Place Part II premiere on Sunday (March 8) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The 37-year-old actress wowed in a red, leather dress while the 40-year-old actor and director sported a bright blue suit for the premiere of their new movie.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou.

Nyle DiMarco, Keegan-Michael Key and wife Elisa, and Shadowhunters actress Katherine McNamara.

The night before, it was announced that John will be hosting Saturday Night Live on Saturday, March 28. Find out who the musical guest will be!

The sequel to the 2018 movie was written and directed by John Krasinski, who also stars in the film.

The four entertainers are all featured on covers for the new Teen Vogue issue. For this year’s cover profiles, each rising star was paired in conversation with an industry veteran who helped pave the way. The other covers stars are Jacob Batalon, Ncuti Gatwa, Theo Germaine, Dafne Keen, and Liza Koshy.

The four stars pictured were all in attendance to celebrate the covers and they were joined by Kaitlyn‘s Unbelievable co-star Danielle Macdonald and Paris Jackson.

Olivia Wilde accepts one of her several awards at the 2020 Hollywood Critics’ Association Awards on Thursday night (January 9) at Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles.

Booksmart was a big winner at the event with Olivia taking home Best Female Director, the movie tying for Best Comedy/Musical and Kaitlyn Dever winning Best Performance by an Actress 23 and Under. Olivia was also honored with the Trailblazer Award!

Also in attendance at the event were Jojo Rabbit‘s Taika Waititi (winner of Best Adapted Screenplay), Honey Boy director Alma Har’el (winner of Best First Feature) with the film’s actor Byron Bowers, The Farewell‘s Shuzhen Zhao, Parasite director Bong Joon-ho (winner of Best Original Screenplay), The Peanut Butter Falcon‘s Zack Gottsagen (winner of the Newcomer Award), and Richard Jewell‘s Paul Walter Hauser (winner of the Game Changer Award).

The “Next Generation of Hollywood” was honored at the event and some of the recipients who attended included Kaitlyn, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Geraldine Viswanathan, Brooklynn Prince, Millicent Simmonds, Mckenna Grace, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Thomasin McKenzie.

The trailer for the upcoming horror movie sequel written and directed by John Krasinski starring Emily Blunt has been released.
