Carla Gugino poses for a photo with friends Malin Akerman and Julianna Margulies at The Cinema Society’s screening of her new Cinemax series Jett on Tuesday (June 11) at The Roxy Cinema in New York City.

Carla stars in the series and was joined at the event by co-stars Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Backus, Michael Aronov, Jodie Turner-Smith, Mustafa Shakir, Violet McGraw, and more.

A bunch of Carla‘s celeb friends came out to support, including Malin, Julianna (with hunky hubby Keith Lieberthal), Connie Britton, and more. Christopher‘s wife Mira Sorvino was there as well.

After the screening, the party continued at Gitano Jungle Terraces, where stars sipped on Qui tequila cocktails.

Jett premieres this Friday on Cinemax. Carla plays world-class thief Daisy “Jett” Kowalski. Fresh out of prison, she is forced back into doing what she does best, and a cast of morally ambivalent, dangerous and eccentric criminals, from budding femme fatales to compromised law enforcers, are determined to exploit her skills for their own ends.

Mira Sorvino has bravely revealed that she is a survivor of date rape.

The #MeToo activist and actress was speaking at a press conference on Wednesday (June 12) to attempt to extend the New York’s statute of limitations on rape allegations.

While speaking, Mira said she was a survivor of “sexual harassment and battery victim at the hand of Mr. [Harvey] Weinstein…but I am also a sexual assault victim. And I’m also a survivor of date rape.”

Mira became very emotional and she bravely continued speaking.

“I’ve never said that in public and I do not want to go in detail,” she said. “I have never said that last part ever in public because it’s impossible sometimes to share these sorts of things and I’m doing it here to try and help,”

Emily Ratajkowski looked so chic while stepping out for TheWrap’s Power Women Summit!

The 27-year-old model and actress stopped by the event on Friday (November 2) at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown in Los Angeles.

She was also joined at the event by Felicity Jones and Zoe Saldana, who was joined by her sister Cisely.

Other attendees included Rosanna Arquette and Mira Sorvino.

The event brought together some of the most influential women in entertainment, media and technology to discuss how to bring about gender balance by 2020.

Adam Brody is talking Startup‘s third season!

The 38-year-old actor stepped out for the show’s premiere at the Tribeca TV Festival on Friday evening (September 21) in New York City.

Adam was joined by his co-stars Ron Perlman, Edi Gathegi, Mira Sorvino and Otmara Marrero, as well as director Ben Ketai.

The show is about a group of underdog techies who take start-up funding from the wrong side of the tracks and risk paying with their lives.

Mira Sorvino is speaking out in response to the allegations made against her friend Asia Argento.

Both of the actresses were among the first women to come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein and led the #MeToo movement to where it is today.

“Having just touched down from several weeks abroad, I am reeling from the recent news. Although hoping against hope that it is not true, here are my current thoughts,” Mira tweeted.

“I have been heartsick over the recent allegations against Asia Argento,” she added. “Time will clarify things and perhaps she will be exonerated, but if true, there is no lens that makes it better. Child sexual assault is a heinous crime and is against all that I and the #MeToo movement stands for. I remain dedicated to fight for all victims and change the culture that encourages abuse of power in sexual relationships.”

Asia has released a statement denying the allegations and says her late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain paid off former actor Jimmy Bennett to make sure they didn’t get caught in negative publicity.
