Troye Sivan Drops 'Got Me Started' Song - Lyrics Revealed, Plus Watch the Dance-Filled Music Video!

Troye Sivan is back with another new song from his forthcoming album Something to Give Each Other!

The 28-year-old singer and actor just dropped his song “Got Me Started” after the success of his previous single “Rush.”

“When we were writing this song, I was emphatic about using ‘Shooting Stars’ (a 2008 track by the Australian duo Bag Raiders) — I just kept humming it in the studio,” Troye said in a statement. “It’s a huge sample and was a big ask; and I knew that they had never approved it in the past. So I’m over the moon about the opportunity to sample that track because this song is iconic to me. And then we have Ian Kirkpatrick on production, who is a genius. I love his work – he had this plan to record the vocal at a slower speed and then speed it up, and ultimately that’s what you hear in the chorus. I instantly loved the way it sounded.”

The music video for the song features Troye dancing his way through the streets and clubs of Bangkok, Thailand.

Indie Pop Singer Frankie Bird Drops 'Float,' the Last Song She Wrote in Her 20s - Watch the Video!

Indie pop singer Frankie Bird is back with her third new song of 2023 and it’s a special one!

Frankie says “Float” is the last song that she wrote in her 20s and feels like the “final lesson” she needed to learn before closing that decade.

“I wrote ‘Float’ about three days before my 30th birthday, making it the last song I wrote in my twenties,” she told Atwood Magazine. “It poured out of me really quickly and felt like the final lesson I needed to learn before closing the decade. I spent so much of my late twenties feeling like I was getting nowhere because I was fighting the current of my life. I was trying to swim upstream to get to where I used to be, instead of allowing myself to think that there might be a different route that could be better for me.”

Miley Cyrus New Song 'Used To Be Young' - Lyrics Revealed & Video Released!

Miley Cyrus is back with new music and she’s pointing back to her youth in her new song “Used to Be Young.”

The music video for the ballad features Miley tearfully singing straight into the camera while wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt, seemingly in reference to her Disney Channel days as the star of Hannah Montana.

“I know I used to be crazy / I know I used to be fun / You say I used to be wild / I say I used to be young,” Miley sings in the lyrics of the chorus. “You tell me time has done changed me / That’s fine, I’ve had a good run / I know I used to be crazy / That’s ‘causе I used to be young.”

Miley explained the meaning of the song earlier this week.

“These lyrics were written almost 2 years ago at the beginning of my ESV,” she began.

“It was at a time I felt misunderstood. I have spent the last 18 months painting a sonic picture of my perspective to share with you,” she continued. “The time has arrived to release a song that I could perfect forever. Although my work is done, this song will continue to write itself everyday. The fact it remains unfinished is a part of its beauty. That is my life at this moment ….. unfinished yet complete.”
