'Cabaret' Stars Eddie Redmayne & Gayle Rankin Support Opening Night of Liev Schreiber's Play 'Doubt'

Eddie Redmayne is getting ready for his return to Broadway in Cabaret alongside Gayle Rankin and they took a break from rehearsals to catch the opening night of Doubt: A Parable.

The future co-stars walked the red carpet together at the opening performance on Thursday night (February 29) at the Todd Haimes Theatre in New York City.

Liev Schreiber stars in the play and was joined on the carpet by co-stars Amy Ryan, Zoe Kazan, and Quincy Tyler Bernstine, as well as his wife Taylor Neisen and child Kai.

More stars who supported the opening included Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nathan Lane, Andrea Martin, Victor Garber, and cute couple Michael Zegen and Jennifer Damiano.

Amy recently joined the production with just a few days notice after Tyne Daly had to abruptly drop out of the play due to her health.

Doubt is playing a limited engagement through April 14.

Stephen Sondheim's Final Musical 'Here We Are' Draws Star-Studded Crowd for Opening Night Celebration

The new musical Here We Are, which is the final show from legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, has officially debuted off-Broadway.

A star-studded crowd stepped out to attend the performance on Sunday night (October 22) at The Shed’s Griffin Theatre in New York City.

Among the stars pictured in the gallery are Lee Pace, John Benjamin Hickey, Katie Holmes, Jim Parsons, Sara Bareilles, Phillipa Soo, Sarah Paulson, Nathan Lane, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Rudd, Andy Cohen, Chris Rock, Jane Krakowski, Annaleigh Ashford, Josh Groban, Zachary Quinto, and Josh Gad.

Josh and Annaleigh are currently starring in the revival of Sondheim‘s Sweeney Todd while Sara and Phillipa recently led the revival of Sondheim‘s Into the Woods.

Cast members photographed at the opening night party included David Hyde Pierce, Steven Pasquale, Rachel Bay Jones, Bobby Cannavale, and Micaela Diamond.

The New York Times says that the show “is a worthy and loving farewell to the great musical dramatist.”

Here We Are is running at The Shed through January 21.

The upcoming animated musical Spellbound has found a new streaming home!

Starring Rachel Zegler and Jordan Fisher, the movie was originally set up at Apple TV+ as part of a deal between it’s production company Skydance Animation and the streamer.

Now, Apple and Skydance Animation’s multi-year pact has come to a close, with the animation company needing a new home, and they’ve quickly found one at Netflix, THR reports.

Megan Mullally & Nathan Lane Join 'Dicks: The Musical' Cast for L.A. Premiere, Marking Rare L.A. Event Amid Strikes

There haven’t been that many red carpet premieres in Los Angeles over the past few months due to the strikes in Hollywood, but Dicks: The Musical is bringing some star power to the west coast!

Megan Mullally and Nathan Lane joined their castmates for the red carpet event on Monday (September 18) at the Fine Arts Theatre in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance were co-stars Bowen Yang, Aaron Jackson, Josh Sharp, and Danielle Perez, as well as Bowen‘s Fire Island co-star Joel Kim Booster.

The cast is allowed to promote the movie as it has a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement due to it being released by A24, an independent studio that has already agreed to the union’s terms for the next contract.

Dicks: The Musical is about two self-obsessed businessmen (Aaron and Josh, who also wrote the film) who discover they’re long-lost identical twins and come together to plot the reunion of their eccentric divorced parents. The movie was directed by Larry Charles, best known for directing Borat and Bruno.

Megan Thee Stallion also stars in the movie and you’ve gotta watch the trailer. Catch the film in theaters on October 6 and everywhere on October 20.

Dicks: The Musical features an ensemble cast that includes rapper Megan Thee Stallion, SNL‘s Bowen Yang and Broadway legends Nathan Lane and Megan Mullally.

Here’s the synopsis: Two self-obsessed businessmen (writers and stars Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp) discover they’re long-lost identical twins and come together to plot the reunion of their eccentric divorced parents.

The film was directed by Larry Charles, who has directed movies like Borat and Bruno, as well as TV shows like Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Nathan Lane Reveals How 'Saint' Robin Williams Protected Him During 'Oprah' Interview In 1996

Nathan Lane hasn’t forgotten how his The Birdcage co-star Robin Williams helped protect him during an interview almost 30 years ago.

The 67-year-old Only Murders in the Building star opened up about appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote the movie, in which they played a gay couple, back in 1996.

This was before Nathan had come out, and he was concerned that Oprah Winfrey would ask him about his sexuality during the interview. Thankfully, Robin saved the day.

Nathan Lane Gets Support from 'Only Murders' Stars, Including Meryl Streep, at Broadway Opening!

Nathan Lane is back on Broadway and his co-stars from Only Murders in the Building stepped out to show support on opening night!

The Broadway legend and his co-stars Danny Burstein and Zoe Wanamaker took their opening night bows in Pictures From Home on Thursday (February 9) at Studio 54 in New York City.

Only Murders stars Steve Martin and Martin Short were among the many stars in attendance at the opening and they were joined by season three co-star Meryl Streep!

It was recently confirmed that Meryl will have a recurring role in the upcoming third season of the Hulu series.

Pictures From Home is billed as a “funny, poignant, and heartfelt portrait of a flawed but loving American family in a stage adaptation of groundbreaking photographer Larry Sultan’s captivating visual memoir.” The play is currently having a limited engagement on Broadway through April 30.
