Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting a third showrunner as it moves into Season 2.
Showrunner Albert Kim, who replaced creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, is leaving the Netflix live-action series, THR reports.
Co-executive producer Christine Boylan and executive producer Jabbar Raisani will take over as the third showrunners for the second and third seasons.

Tyler Perry’s Netflix series Beauty in Black has found its cast!
The series will have 16 hour-long episodes in its first season, based on two women leading very different lives: While Kimmie is struggling to make a living after her mother kicked her out, Mallory is running a successful business, and the two find themselves entangled in each other’s lives, via TVLine.
Tyler will write, direct and produce Beauty in Black, which will be the first TV series to come out of his creative partnership with Netflix, a multi-year deal that began in October 2023. A premiere date has not yet been set, but we know who’s going to star in the show.

The trailer for Netflix’s new rom-com Mother of the Bride just debuted online!
Here’s the logline: Lana’s daughter Emma returns from abroad and drops a bombshell: she’s getting married. In Thailand. In a month! Things only get worse when Lana learns that the man who captured Emma’s heart is the son of the man who broke hers years ago.
The film stars Brooke Shields and Benjamin Bratt as the mother and father of the bride and groom, respectively. Miranda Cosgrove, Sean Teale, Chad Michael Murray and Rachael Harris also star.
In one memorable scene from the trailer, Brooke‘s character walks in on Benjamin‘s character in the buff! The film hits Netflix on May 9, 2024. Be sure to check it out!
