Nev Schulman‘s wife has shared some sad news.
On Thursday (January 26), Laura Perlongo, who has been married to the 38-year-old Catfish host since 2017, subtly revealed that she recently suffered a miscarriage in a post about her manicure.
In the post shared on Instagram, Laura shared a photo of a positive pregnancy test, before revealing in the comments that she had actually miscarried.

John Stamos makes sure he gets in the picture with Kelly Rizzo at the 2022 Critics Choice Real TV Awards held at Fairmont Century Plaza on Sunday (June 12) in Los Angeles.
The 58-year-old actor kept close to Kelly‘s side throughout the show to snap all the pictures he could while she accepted the The Impact Award on behalf of her late husband, Bob Saget.
“It’s just so special to be here to honor him, but also still so weird and surreal at the fact that he’s not here,” Kelly told People at the event. “This is the first red carpet I’ve done without him. It’s very strange. I feel like he’s waiting in the wings and he’ll be like, ‘Honey, I’ll be there in a few minutes.’ It still doesn’t feel right, but all we can do is our best and be here to celebrate him and his legacy. That’s all I want to do.”
In addition to Kelly and John, newly engaged Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert were at the event where they reunited with DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba, as well as Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani.

The stars of Top Gun: Maverick stepped out in N.Y. and L.A. to support the film at influencer screenings on both coasts!
Jennifer Connelly and Jay Ellis were in attendance at an event held at the AMC Magic Johnson Harlem on Monday night (May 23) in New York City.
That same evening, Glen Powell and Greg Tarzan Davis did a Q&A and meet and greet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The N.Y. screening was filled with both celebs and influences. Some of the talent in attendance included Katheryn Winnick, Stranger Things‘ Cara Buono, Sherri Shepherd, football player Julian Edelman, Catfish‘s Nev Schulman and Laura Perlongo, and Broadway stars and longtime couple Nick Adams and Kyle Brown.

The couple are also parents to Beau, 2, and Cleo, 5.

Nev Schulman debuted a new look during the season finale of Dancing With the Stars!
The 36-year-old Catfish host showed off his newly shaved chest while going shirtless for a performance on Monday night (November 23) at the studio in Los Angeles.
Nev and his partner Jenna Johnson reprised their incredible “Black Swan Swan Lake” performance and earned a perfect 30 again.
“Well, Jenna and I made a deal at the beginning of the season that if we made it to the finale, I would shave my chest, and so I have!” Nev said after nailing the Paso Doble.

Nev Schulman is opening up about his own experience with coronavirus earlier this year.
The 36-year-old Catfish star and DWTS finalist revealed that he and wife, Laura Perlongo, both tested positive for COVID-19 in March.
“It was really scary as there was so little information available and we were terrified that our kids would get sick too,” he recalled in an Instagram post. “For over three weeks, my constant fatigue, headaches and difficulty breathing was awful and the stress of wondering if my symptoms would worsen was horrifying.”
“Thank God my condition improved and our kids didn’t get sick and we were able to safely quarantine. With all the fear, uncertainty, and unrest that has followed its been a roller coaster of emotions for all of us,” Nev added. “It’s hard to believe that despite all that, my year is ending with one of the most positive and amazing experiences of my life. I am so blessed that I have my family and that we have our health.”
Nev just recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how the coronavirus lingered on.
“Throughout the summer and fall I have had this sort of weird toe injury and achiness, you could say, which is pretty common,” he shared. “I don’t have it so much anymore, but they will start hurting [sometimes]. It has not, fortunately, inhibited my dancing abilities.”

When asked why he decided to share his story now, Nev said that “looking back at the season of Dancing, and really reflecting on this year and all the things that brought me to this point, it just served as a really appropriate metaphor: how some things cannot be great and going poorly, but then an amazing opportunity will strike.”
“Despite the tragedy of COVID, of course, in this pandemic, not filming Catfish on the road oddly opened up an opportunity for me to be in one place and be on the show. I am so grateful, and I just feel like that was something I wanted to share.”
