Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne are starring in the upcoming Netflix thriller The Good Nurse and the streamer has released the first photos from the movie.

The film, directed by Another Round writer Tobias Lindholm, is based on a true story.

“Suspicious that her colleague is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths, a nurse risks her own life to uncover the truth in this gripping thriller based on true events,” Netflix said in the official description.

We don’t see Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha together in public that often, but they made a rare exception for the 2022 SAG Awards!

The 40-year-old actor and former NFL player joined Kerry, 45, at the annual awards show on Sunday night (February 27) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Kerry and Nnamdi posed for a photo with Jessica Chastain, who won the Best Actress prize at the event. Kerry was a presenter during the show.

For those who don’t know, Kerry and Nnamdi have been married since 2013 and they are parents to seven-year-old daughter Isabelle and five-year-old son Caleb. She has revealed that she’s a “mother of three,” seemingly referring to Nnamdi‘s daughter from a previous relationship.

Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha are showing their support for Joe Biden!

The 43-year-old Scandal actress and the 39-year-old football player turned actor made a rare public appearance together on Saturday afternoon (October 17) in Durham, North Carolina.

The couple hosted an Early Vote Mobilization event while campaigning for Presidential candidate former VP Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

If you didn’t know, Kerry and Nnamdi have been married since 2013 and share two kids – daughter Isabelle, 6, and son Caleb, 4.

During a recent interview, Kerry opened up about teaching her kids about racial injustice.

The trailer for Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha‘s new movie Sylvie’s Love has been released!

The 37-year-old Thor: Ragnorak actress and the 39-year-old football player turned actor, who is also married to Kerry Washington, star in the upcoming 1950s romance movie heading to Amazon Prime Video this holiday season.

Amazon’s Sylvie’s Love synopsis reads: “Robert (Asomugha), a saxophonist, spends late nights playing behind a less-talented but well-known bandleader as member of a jazz quartet. Sylvie (Thompson), who dreams of a career in television, spends her summer days helping around her father’s record store, as she waits for her fiancé to return from war. When Robert takes a part-time job at the record store, the two begin a friendship that sparks a deep passion in each of them unlike anything they have felt before.”

“As the summer winds down, life takes them in different directions, bringing their relationship to an end,” the synopsis continues. “Years pass, Sylvie’s career as a TV producer blossoms, while Robert has to come to terms with what the age of Motown is doing to the popularity of Jazz. In a chance meeting, Sylvie and Robert cross paths again, only to find that while their lives have changed, their feelings for each other remain the same.”

Sylvie’s Love will begin streaming worldwide December 25 on Amazon Prime Video!

Kerry‘s husband Nnamdi Asomugha stars in the movie alongside Eva and he walked the red carpet separately. Also in attendance were co-stars Tessa Thompson, Tone Bell, Erica Gimpel, and Raquel Horsford.

In Sylvie’s Love, a woman working at her father’s record store in Harlem in the late 1950s meets an aspiring saxophone player. Nnamdi is also one of the film’s producers!

FYI: Tessa is wearing a Pyer Moss top and skirt. Eva wore a Lajoux necklace. Kerry wore a Sretsis coat with Chinese Laundry boots.

Billy Porter keeps it chic as he strikes a pose on the red carpet at the opening night for A Soldier’s Play held at the American Airlines Theater on Tuesday (January 21) in New York City.

The 50-year-old Pose star was joined at the event by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Tony Shalhoub and his wife Brooke Adams, Weeds star Mary Louise Parker and her son William Parker, Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie, Kate Walsh, Sunny Hostin, Phylicia Rashad and Cicely Tyson as they all stepped out to show their support.

Also in attendance were the cast of the play David Alan Grier, Blair Underwood, Nnamdi Asomugha, Jerry O’Connell, McKinley Belcher III, Rob Demery, Jared Grimes, Billy Eugene Jones, Nate Mann, Warner Miller, J. Alphonse Nicholson, and Lee Aaron Rosen.

A Soldier’s Play follows an officer’s race against his white leadership to unravel the crime of a black sergeant’s murder. A hair-raising mystery set in 1944, the play is seen on Broadway for the first time.

Cynthia Erivo makes an incredible entrance on the red carpet at the Harriet premiere during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The 32-year-old Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Joe Alwyn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jennifer Nettles, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Omar Dorsey, Nick Basta, Mitchell Hoog, and Zackary Momoh. Also there was executive producer Nnamdi Asomugha.

The day before, Cynthia and some of her castmates also stepped out for an interview at the Variety Studio at the AT&T On Location lounge. See those photos in the gallery!

Harriet is already getting a lot of Oscar buzz and it will hit theaters on November 1.
