Kerry Washington helped host a special screening of If Beale Street Could Talk!

The 41-year-old actress stepped out for the event on Monday evening (November 26) at Landmark 57 Theatre in New York City.

Kerry hosted alongside husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

The couple was joined by the film’s cast including Kiki Layne and Stephan James, as well as director Barry Jenkins.

The film follows a woman in Harlem who scrambles to prove her fiancé innocent of a crime while pregnant with their first child.

If Beale Street Could Talk is set to hit theaters on December 14th.

Kerry Washington looks stunning on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 40-year-old actress was joined at the event by her husband Nnamadi Asomugha, who walked the red carpet separately.

During the show, Kerry joined Garrett Hedlund on stage to present an award.

The happy couple were spotted mingling and sharing laughs with renowned filmmakers Steven Spielberg and honoree George Lucas at the event.

This is Kerry‘s very first appearance since welcoming their second child, a baby boy named Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, back in October.

The couple are also parents to Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, who is two years old. Kerry and Nnamdi married on June 24, 2013.
