Cynthia Erivo shows off her green hair on the red carpet at the Harriet D.C. premiere on Tuesday (October 22) in Washington, D.C.

The 32-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Leslie Odom Jr, Jennifer Nettles, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Zackary Momoh, and Nick Basta. The event took place at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History.

Also in attendance were director Kasi Lemmons, executive producer Nnmadi Asomugha, and Leslie‘s wife Nicolette Robinson.

Harriet will hit theaters on November 1!

Matt Bomer, Salma Hayek, and James Franco hit the red carpet at the Film Independent Spirit Awards Nominee Brunch on Saturday afternoon (January 6) at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, Calif.

While Matt is not nominated this year, Salma and James are up for their leading roles in Beatriz at Dinner and The Disaster Artist, respectively!

Alia Shawkat and John Cho will be hosting the show in March and they walked the carpet together.

Also in attendance were nominees Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, Timothee Chalamet, Harris Dickinson, and Nnamdi Asomugha, as well as Get Out‘s Lil Rel Howery.

The big breakout star of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival is undoubtedly going to be newcomer Danielle Macdonald after the amazing reception she got for her new movie Patti Cake$!

The 25-year-old Australian actress stepped out for the premiere alongside co-stars Bridget Everett, Siddharth Dhananjay, Mamoudou Athie, Cathy Moriarty, Patrick Brana, and Wass Stevens, as well as writer-director Geremy Jasper on Monday (January 23) in Park City, Utah.

The movie got a standing ovation from the audience at the premiere and Danielle received another standing ovation when she walked on stage for the Q&A! It’s very likely that the film is going to receive the Audience Award at the festival.

Danielle plays an aspiring New Jersey rapper in the movie and she opened up during the Q&A about how she knew tons of rap songs already, but didn’t know much about the rap music world or who the artists were. After spending two and a half years on the project, she has a much better appreciation for the genre of music!
