Olivia Williams Reflects on 'Harrowing' Experience Filming for 'Friends,' Reveals What Went Wrong

Olivia Williams spilled some tea about her time on Friends, and her experience was not great.

The 55-year-old actress appeared in the finale episode of the beloved sitcom’s forth season, where Ross (David Schwimmer) marries Emily (Helen Baxendale).

She has previously hinted that being a guest star on the show was not all that good for her. However, in a new interview she provided some explicit details about what went wrong.

Elizabeth Debicki was recognized for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown at the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday (February 24).

The 33-year-old actress picked up the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, one of two awards that The Crown was nominated for this year, and delivered her acceptance speech barefoot.

The stars are stepping out for The Crown’s Finale Celebration!

Elizabeth Debicki and Emma Corrin, who both played Princess Diana on the hit Netflix show, attended the screening of the finale episodes on Tuesday (December 5) held at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

Fellow stars in attendance included actors that appeared on The Crown throughout the show’s six seasons.

'The Crown' Recreates Kate Middleton's Sheer Lingerie Fashion Show Moment

Kate Middleton‘s lingerie moment is being recreated in the final episodes of The Crown‘s sixth season!

If you don’t know, the moment did actually happen in real life. The future Princess took part in a fashion show while in college and Prince William was in the audience at the time. It’s said their romance blossomed after that.

Here’s the synopsis for the final episodes: Prince William (Ed McVey) tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen (Imelda Staunton) reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla (Olivia Williams) and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate (Meg Bellamy). Luther Ford portrays Prince Harry.

Season six, part two will debut on December 14, 2023. Season 6, part 1 is currently available to stream on Netflix.

The Crown's Season 6 Trailer Focuses on the Tragic End of Princess Diana's Life

The first full trailer for The Crown‘s sixth season (part 1) is finally here.

It appears as if the first trailer for the new episodes is heavily featuring the end of Princess Diana’s life, where she faced constant privacy invasions, harassment by photographers, and more. The trailer also shows a bit of the aftermath of her death and the royal family’s reactions.

Dominic West & Olivia Williams Film King Charles & Queen Camilla's Wedding for 'The Crown' Season Six

The Crown is re-creating King Charles and Queen Camilla‘s big day!

Dominic West and Olivia Williams got into the character as the King and Queen of England to film their wedding on Friday (April 21) in Rochester, England,

Also seen on set were Ed McVey and Luther Ford, who are playing Prince William and Prince Harry, respectively, along with Claudia Harrison, who seen on set as Princess Anne wearing a teal-colored costume.

After filming wrapped, the cast members were seen dancing around the streets.

King Charles and Queen Camilla married in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall back on April 9, 2005. His parents – the late Queen Elizabeth and the late Prince Philip – did not attend the ceremony, but they were present at the Service of Prayer and Dedication held during reception for the couple in Windsor Castle afterwards.

Season six is the final season of The Crown, set to center around the late ’90s and early ’00s in the lives of the royal family. See who else is joining the cast, and who is returning!

Imelda Staunton, The Crown's New Queen, Joins Cast at Season 5 Premiere in London!

The cast of The Crown stepped out in black-tie for the premiere of season five!

Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Dominic West, and Elizabeth Debicki were front and center at the event on Tuesday night (November 8) at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, England.

The four actors are taking on the roles of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Princess Diana in the new season.

Also in attendance at the event were Jonny Lee Miller (John Major), Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret), Olivia Williams (Camilla Parker Bowles), Marcia Warren (The Queen Mother), Claudia Harrison (Princess Anne), James Murray (Prince Andrew), Salim Daw (Mohamed al-Fayed), and Khalid Abdalla (Dodi Fayed).

Series creator Peter Morgan was joined at the event by former partner Gillian Anderson, who starred in season four as Margaret Thatcher.
