The ratings are in!

The Saturday (April 18) stream of the One World Together at Home special, curated by Lady Gaga, brought in about 14 million viewers across NBC, ABC and CBS, Showbiz411 reported on Sunday (April 19).

“Lady Gaga’s One World Together at Home scored about 14 million over the three networks last night. On ABC the two hour average was 5 million, just as it was on NBC. On CBS it was a little lower, just above 4 million. A huge hit? For network TV, if it were all on one channel, yes. Spread out among the three, not so much,” the report reads.

“The demos were low numbers for young people, very high for over 50. All 7s for the older crowd.”

Gaga worked with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization to curate an incredible lineup of performers to entertain fans around the world. See who performed which songs!

The best performance of the night during the One World: Together At Home special was saved for last – Celine Dion made a surprise appearance to perform “The Prayer” with some friends!

The legendary singer was joined by her duet partner Andrea Bocelli, plus event curator Lady Gaga, John Legend, and pianist Lang Lang for the performance.

All of the entertainers filmed their portions from home and the videos were pieced together to create an incredible moment.

Gaga worked with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization to organize the eight-hour special and she helped raise $50 million from private corporations and philanthropists before the event even began. The evening was not a fundraiser because all the money had already been raised.

Kerry Washington was one of the many guests who were featured on the One World: Together at Home special and something that people noticed was that her bookshelves were color-coordinated!

The Emmy-nominated actress filmed a segment for the special from her home and it looks like she might be in an office or den. The bookcase behind her has shelves for blue books, yellow books, and red books.

Kerry delivered an important message about maintaining your mental and emotional wellbeing during this challenging time.

“I want to start by saying thank to you to our essential frontline workers who are risking everything to keep us safe,” Kerry said. “Those of us who are able to practice social distancing and stay home, we are in a very fortunate position and it is in no small part thanks to you. And also, no matter who you are and what circumstances you are facing, these are challenging times.”

“Even if you are staying home with family or by yourself, we are all struggling with different emotions. Practicing social distancing is critical, but we also need to consider how isolation may affect our mental and emotional wellbeing,” Kerry continued. “So, whether you are at home or on the frontline, if you’re worried about how this unprecedented time is going to impact your mental and emotional wellbeing, you are not alone.”

Keith Urban had a surprise guest during his One World: Stay at Home appearance – wife Nicole Kidman!

The 52-year-old country rocker appeared during the special on Saturday (April 18) to perform a cover of Steve Winwood‘s song “Higher Love.”

Keith had a little fun with his performance, editing in three Keiths to perform alongside with him.

At the end of his performance, Nicole walks into the shot, hugging one of the Keiths, while the main Keith shares a message of positivity.

“To all of the healthcare workers, everyone on the front lines, and everyone behind the scenes, on behalf of Nic, our girls, and myself, all of us here we say thank you,” Keith says.

Billie Eilish is putting her spin on a classic hit song.

The 18-year-old Grammy winner covered Sunny Hebb‘s song “Sunny” while performing during the One World: Together at Home special on Saturday night (April 18).

Billie was joined by brother Finneas O’Connell, who played the piano while she sang.

Billie recently performed during a virtual prom hosted by John Krasinski.

Here’s the full list of songs that have been performed across the eight-hour One World special.

Taylor Swift has said that she would likely never perform her song “Soon You’ll Get Better,” but she debuted the song with an emotional performance on the One World: Together At Home special.

The 30-year-old singer wrote the song about her mom Andrea Swift‘s battle with cancer and the song is on her latest album Lover.

“We as a family decided to put this on the album, and it’s something I’m so proud of, but it’s just really hard,” Taylor told fans back in August 2019. “I can’t sing it. It’s hard to just emotionally deal with that song.”

“It was hard to write, it’s hard to sing. It’s hard to listen to for me, but sometimes music is like that,” she added.

Beyonce made a surprise appearance during the One World: Together At Home special to speak to the world about the way coronavirus is affecting African Americans.

“Tonight, we celebrate true heroes,” she said in a video message. ”Those who are making the ultimate sacrifice to keep us all safe, fed and healthy. To the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers who are away from their families to take care of ours, we continue to pray for your safety.

She continued, “To those in the food industry, delivery workers, mail carriers and sanitation employees, who are working so we can be safe in our homes, we thank you for your selfless service.”

Beyonce continued by addressing how Black Americans make up a lot of these workers, so they’re at high risk for the virus.

“Black Americans disproportionately belong to these essential parts of the workforce that do not have the luxury of working from home. African-American communities at large have been severely affected in this crisis,” she said. “Those with pre-existing conditions are at an even higher risk. This virus is killing black people at an alarmingly high rate here in America.”

“A recent report in my home city, Houston, Texas, showed that of Covid-19 deaths within Houston city limits, 57 percent of fatal cases are African-American,” Bey added. “Please protect yourselves. We are one family and we need you, we need your voices and your abilities and your strength all over this world. I know it’s very hard but please be patient, stay encouraged, keep the faith, stay positive and continue to pray for our heroes. Good night, and God bless you.”
