Raul Esparza is saying goodbye to Law & Order: SVU.

The 47-year-old actor has played New York Assistant DA Rafael Barba since 2012 and his final episode aired Wednesday night (February 7).

In tonight’s episode, Raul’s character found himself charged with a crime when he became too involved in a family’s right-to-die case. Although he was acquitted of the charges against him, Barba decided to leave his position as lead prosecutor.

“I’ve got to move on,” Barba told Mariska Hargitay‘s Lt. Olivia Benson before a tearful embrace.

However, this might not be the last time we see Rafael Barba.

“It has truly been an honor writing for Raul. The power, sensitivity and morality he brought to the character of Rafael Barba never failed to elevate our scripts,” showrunner Michael Chernuchin said in a statement. “Raul is family and we look forward to seeing his talent shine in new projects. As for Barba, SVU fans may see him again soon.”

Also during tonight’s episode, Chicago Justice alum Philip Winchester will be reprising his role as ADA Peter Stone on SVU and has been promoted to series regular on the show.

Sophia Bush, Nicole Richie, and Megan Boone hit the red carpet while attending the NBC Universal Mid-season Press Day on Thursday (March 2) at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City.

The ladies were at the event to promote their respective NBC series Chicago PD, Great News, and The Blacklist.

Also stepping out for the event were Blindspot‘s Archie Panjabi and Sullivan Stapleton, The Blacklist: Redemption‘s Famke Janssen, Chicago Justice‘s Philip Winchester, and Nicole‘s Great News co-stars John Michael Higgins and Andrea Martin.

Chicago Justice premieres this Sunday night and Great News will have its series premiere on April 25. The other series are already being aired!

Sophia Bush rocks a bright yellow jacket while attending the One Chicago Day event held at Lagunitas Brewing Company on Monday (October 24) in Chicago, Ill.

The 34-year-old actress was joined by her Chicago P.D. co-stars Jon Seda and Jesse Lee Soffer.

The event was held to celebrate NBC’s four Chicago-based TV shows – Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and the upcoming series Chicago Justice. It included pumpkins carved with the series’ names and a real Chicago firefighting demonstration!

Chace Crawford happily flashes a smile alongside his brother-in-law, football player Tony Romo, while attending the premiere of his latest film Undrafted held at ArcLight Hollywood on Monday (July 11) in Hollywood.

On his plans for 2016: “There is a possibility of doing a Strike Back movie. I’m very excited about that, of course. otherwise, I’m enjoying being a dad and hanging out with my little family.”

On what keeps him motivated to keep working: “My wife and daughter constantly motivate me to chase the things I see as important. They also challenge me to do it in a way that is honest. If I can look at my wife and daughter and know I did things the right way, I can go to bed happy and try again the next day. This business is tough, and I’ve been very fortunate. I always assume the job I finish is my last job—it’s just a thing I can’t shake. It keeps me hungry for my next gig.”

On what he misses about Strike Back: “It became this incredible family. We faced so many challenges together and overcame so many problems, that to not be able to continue all that with the same group and story felt really uncomfortable. We became very accustomed to how we all worked together and how we all thought through things. It became a brilliant story delivery device.”
