Pierpaolo Piccioli is out at Valentino, and Alessandro Michele is in.

The fashion house confirmed earlier in the week that the 56-year-old creative director of the brand exited this week after 25 years with the company.

His last fall 2024 collection was shown during Paris Fashion Week. Valentino said it would not participate in menswear and couture week showings in June amid the news of the transition.

Pierpaolo was named sole creative director of Valentino in July 2016, following the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri to join Dior.

Pierpaolo Piccioli‘s time at Valentino is coming to an end.

On Friday (March 22), the 56-year-old Italian designer announced that he’s leaving the luxury fashion house where he’s worked at for the past 25 years.

“Not all stories have a beginning and an end, some live a kind of eternal present that shines with an intense light, so strong that it leaves no shadows. I have been in this company for 25 years, and for 25 years I have existed and lived together with the people who with me have woven the threads of this beautiful story that is mine and ours,” Pierpaolo wrote in a statement in Italian shared on Instagram.

The stars are stepping out for Gucci‘s big event!

Normal People co-stars Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones attended the fashion brand’s exclusive party to mark the unveiling of Gucci Cosmos on Tuesday evening (October 10) at 180 The Strand in London, England.

Other stars in attendance included Maude Apatow, Salma Hayek Pinault, Lila Moss, Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, I Wanna Dance with Somebody actress Naomi Ackie, models Adwoa Aboah and Sinead Burke, and 1917 actor George MacKay.

The Gucci Cosmos is an exhibition of the brand’s most iconic designs from its 102-year history, and is now on display in London.

Florence Pugh steps outside to enjoy some small talk with boyfriend Charlie Gooch and some friends after a dinner out together in Rome, Italy over the weekend.

The 27-year-old actress and Charlie were seen chatting and enjoying a drink with Valentino‘s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, and a few other pals.

Florence and Charlie met up with Pierpaolo following a day of shooting an upcoming collection campaign for Valentino in the City of Love.

She was spotted wearing a gorgeous soft lime green gown at one point in her photoshoot, as well as long, silky white gown before the day wrapped up and they then ended the night with their dinner.

Just recently, Florence has been promoting her latest movie, A Good Person, which is out in theaters now.
