Ellen DeGeneres has shared a sweet message on Instagram to celebrate her 11th wedding anniversary with wife Portia de Rossi.

The couple got married back in 2008 and they have stayed together through tons of relationship rumors and only seem stronger as a couple these days!

“Happy anniversary, Portia. 11 years. My favorite number with my favorite person,” Ellen wrote on her Instagram page. She also shared a sweet throwback photo from their wedding.

Portia has been silent on the social media app since June, but perhaps she’ll return to post an anniversary message as well!

Portia de Rossi hits the red carpet at the 2019 Housing Works’ Groundbreaker Awards Dinner on Wednesday night (April 24) at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.

The 46-year-old actress – who is Founder & CEO of the company – looked pretty in a black dress as she was joined at the event by Patricia Clarkson, Andrew Rannells, CNN anchor Don Lemon, and Martha Stewart.

The event celebrates members of the design and philanthropic community who’ve made impressive contributions to the fight against HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

Portia was honored with the Inaugural Recipient of the Design Entrepreneur Award during the event.

Ellen DeGeneres happily waves to the audience as she arrives onstage at the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday (March 3) in Toronto, Canada.

The 61-year-old talk show host sat down for day two of her special question and answer sessions for her Canadian fans, moderated by Dave Kelly.

According to the event details, the speaking showcased “highlight her one-of-a-kind sense of humour, warmth, and kindness.”

Ellen was accompanied by her wife Portia de Rossi for the two tour dates. “Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see me in Toronto and Montreal,” Ellen captioned with her Instagram post. “Time for this goose to fly back South.”

Portia de Rossi makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Wednesday (February 20), and reveals the funny gift she gave her wife in honor of her 61st birthday back in January.

“Gardening tools,” the 46-year-old actress confesses with a laugh. “That’s right,” Ellen confirms.

“But she likes to garden,” Portia quipped. “I do,” Ellen says. “I do.”

In honor of Ellen‘s milestone birthday last year, Portia surprised her with the gift of a lifetime – the launch of The Ellen Fund, which supports global conservation efforts for endangered species.

Portia and Ellen also discuss their life-changing trip to Rwanda last summer and talk about Portia’s recent visit for the groundbreaking ceremony for The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.

It’s the thought that counts, right?!

Ellen DeGeneres planned the sweetest anniversary gift for wife Portia de Rossi to celebrate the day that they first started dating back in 2003.

However, it didn’t exactly go the way the 60-year-old talk show host had planned.

“Portia and I started dating 15 years ago today. I hired a plane to fly by the house with a banner that said 15 with a heart. I should have specified the size,” Ellen tweeted along with the below video.

Ellen and Portia tied the knot back in 2008 after five years of dating.

The 60-year-old comedian and talk show host is about to embark on her first comedy tour in years and she’s likely preparing for it by attending some standup gigs!

Ellen will be performing shows in San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle this month. There will be three performances in each city and the shows in Seattle will be filmed for a Netflix special.
