Michael B. Jordan fights for justice for Jamie Foxx in the new trailer for their film Just Mercy.

The actors, ages 32 and 51, respectively, team up in the upcoming drama.

Here’s the synopsis: “A powerful and thought-provoking true story, Just Mercy follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson (Michael B. Jordan) and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned or who were not afforded proper representation, with the support of local advocate Eva Ansley (Brie Larson).”

It continues, “One of his first, and most incendiary, cases is that of Walter McMillian (Jamie Foxx), who, in 1987, was sentenced to die for the notorious murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite a preponderance of evidence proving his innocence and the fact that the only testimony against him came from a criminal with a motive to lie. In the years that follow, Bryan becomes embroiled in a labyrinth of legal and political maneuverings and overt and unabashed racism as he fights for Walter, and others like him, with the odds—and the system—stacked against them.”

Just Mercy – based on the book by Bryan Stevenson – is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and also stars Rob Morgan, Tim Blake Nelson, Rafe Spall, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Karan Kendrick.

The film arrives in select theaters on December 25 and everywhere on January 10.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson pose for photos on the red carpet at the premiere of Men in Black: International on Tuesday (June 11) at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City.

The two actors previously worked together in the movie Thor: Ragnarok and they reunited for the new film. They were joined at the premiere by co-stars Kumail Nanjiani (with wife Emily V. Gordon), Rafe Spall (with wife Elize du Toit), and Les Twins.

Chris was joined by wife Elsa Pataky.

The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.

Jamie Dornan and his wife Amelia Warner make one extremely hot couple while walking the red carpet at the 2017 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 12) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

The 34-year-old Fifty Shades Darker actor presented during the show with his buddy Rafe Spall and they shared some laughs while posing together in the press room.

Jamie‘s new movie is off to a strong start at the box office. The film brought in $46.8 million for its opening weekend in the U.S. and an additional $100.1 million around the globe.

Imogen Poots, Luke Wilson, and Carla Gugino star in the trailer for their new Showtime series Roadies, set to premiere on June 26.

Roadies gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of “roadies” who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. The music-infused ensemble comedy series chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and puts the spotlight on the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the United States for a successful arena-level band.

Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly, and Ron White star in the ensemble cast.
