Victor Garber and his longtime love Rainer Andreesen have tied the knot after 16 years together.

The 66-year-old actor’s new husband revealed the happy news on his Instagram account along with a photo from the wedding.

“YES WE DID! #justgotmarried #elopedintofino #canada @therealvictorgarber #after16years,” Rainer captioned the cute photo, which you can see below.

Victor and Rainer started dating in 1999 and the actor opened up about their relationship in an interview a few years ago when asked about his greatest achievement. “My relationships with my family and my friends,” he said. “My companion Rainer Andreesen and I have been together almost 13 years in Greenwich Village. We both love New York.”

Victor Garber and his partner Rainer Andreesen spend time together while doing some shopping at The Grove on Thursday (February 21) in Los Angeles.

The 63-year-old actor recently shared to Huffington Post that he was gay.

It was recently announced that Victor will be hosting the 2013 Our Time Benefit Gala, which honors the bravery and achievements of young people who stutter as well as those who inspire their success.

Our Time has been providing a “compassionate community where children who stutter have as much time as needed to express themselves without fear of judgment or ridicule,” since 2001.
