Jennifer Garner is mourning her father, William John Garner.

The 51-year-old actress shared the sad news on social media on Monday (April 1).

“My dad passed peacefully Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away— valid question.) While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners,” she began.

Vontae Davis has sadly passed away.

The former NFL star cornerback, who played 10 seasons before retiring in 2018, has been found dead in a Florida home at the age of 35, via TMZ.

WSVN reported that a male body was found at a home owned by Vontae‘s grandmother on Monday (April 1) in Southwest Ranches, Fla.

Barbara Rush has sadly passed away at the age of 97.

The Golden Globe award-winning actress died on Sunday evening (March 31), her daughter, Fox News correspondent Claudia Cowan confirmed in a statement.

“My wonderful mother passed away peacefully at 5:28 this evening. I was with her this morning and know she was waiting for me to return home safely to transition,” Claudia shared with Fox News. “It’s fitting she chose to leave on Easter as it was one of her favorite holidays and now, of course, Easter will have a deeper significance for me and my family.”

Barbara won the Golden Globe award for most promising newcomer in 1954 for her role in the sci-fi movie It Came From Outer Space. Throughout her career, she has starred alongside leading men like Dean Martin, Rock Hudson, Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando and more.

She has been a star of stage, film and television, with credits including soap opera All My Children, Peyton Place, Knight Rider, Magnum, P.I., Fantasy Island, Flamingo Road, The Love Boat, and her final television series, 7th Heaven, where she played Stephen Collins‘ mom Ruth Camden.

Chance Perdomo has tragically passed away.

On Saturday (March 30) it was announced that the Britsh actor, best known for his roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, had died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27. No other individuals were involved in the accident.

“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” Chance‘s reps shared in a statement with Deadline. “We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Producers for Gen V also released a statement mourning Chance‘s shocking death and and also announced that production for season two has been postponed.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person,” the Gen V producers shared. “Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. has sadly passed away.

The actor – best known for his roles in Roots and An Officer and a Gentleman – died on Thursday night (March 28) in Santa Monica, Calif., his nephew confirmed to the Associated Press. He was 87-years-old.

The 2000 U.S. Vice Presidential Nominee and former Connecticut senator, who was Al Gore‘s running mate, died “due to complications from a fall,” according to his family on Wednesday (March 27), via People.

He was 82 years old.
