The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Peacemaker series has arrived!

The first look was unveiled during a panel held at the DC FanDome live stream event on Saturday afternoon (October 16).

HBO Max revealed during the panel that the upcoming series, starring John Cena, will debut on Thursday, January 13.

Peacemaker will explore the origins of the character that Cena first portrayed in James Gunn‘s 2021 film, The Suicide Squad – a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.

The series also stars Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Steve Agee as Economos, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith.

Gunn wrote all eight episode of Peacemaker and he also directed five of them, including the first.

Katharine McPhee keeps it cute while striking a pose on the red carpet at the premiere of Last Rampage: The Escape of Gary Tison held at ArcLight Cinemas on Thursday (September 21) in Hollywood.

The 33-year-old actress and singer was in attendance to show her support for her Scorpion co-star Robert Patrick, who is the producer and also stars in the flick.

Also in attendance at the premiere was Robert‘s co-stars Heather Graham, Molly Quinn, Casey Thomas Brown and Chris Browning.

Malin Akerman looked stunning while promoting her Showtime series Billions at the 2017 Monte Carlo TV Festival!

The 39-year-old actress turned heads in this black and white ensemble at a photo call on Saturday (June 17) in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Justin Hartley is looking dapper at the 2017 Monte Carlo TV Festival!

The 40-year-old This Is Us actor suited up for the opening night ceremony on Friday (June 16) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

He was joined on the red carpet by Billions star Malin Akerman and MacGyver‘s Lucas Till.

Justin brought along his fiancee Chrishell Stause, who looked gorgeous in a light purple strapless dress. (The two were spotted en route to Monaco on Wednesday).

Also in attendance were Pamela Anderson, rocking a stunning white gown with a train, and Walk the Line‘s Robert Patrick.
