The stars are stepping out for the latest premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks were joined their respected spouses Colin Jost and Rita Wilson at the premiere of their new movie Asteroid City on Tuesday (May 23) held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention — organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition — is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.

Directed by Wes Anderson, Asteroid City will be released in select theaters on Friday, June 16th and nationwide on Friday, June 23rd. Watch the trailer here!

Matt Dillon is looking great in Venice!

The 57-year-old actor suited up for the premiere of his movie Land of Dreams during the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 2) in Venice, Italy.

Matt was joined at the event by his girlfriend Roberta Mastromichele, co-stars Sheila Vand, William Moseley, and Christopher McDonald, and co-director Shirin Neshat.

Earlier in the day, the stars attended a photo call to promote the film.

Matt Dillon holds hand with Roberta Mastromichele while attending The Great Fellove premiere during the 2020 San Sebastian International Film Festival held at the Victoria Eugenia Theater on Tuesday evening (September 22) in Spain.

The 56-year-old actor was the director on the film and spoke to Deadline about the project ahead of the red carpet event, and revealed that what you see in the documentary is only half of what was filmed.

“I had been sitting on the footage for a long time,” Matt admits. “We had all the mini-DV cassettes, it was state of the art at the time. It doesn’t seem that long ago but it’s a lifetime ago. I always take a Super 8 camera with me, I like it. I lost quite a lot of the footage, not all of it survived.”

The movie centers on Matt‘s passion for Cuban music, and focuses on Francisco Fellove, a singer and songwriter known for his scat singing.

Cate Blanchett looks stunning while walking the red carpet at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 12) in Venice, Italy.

The Oscar-winning actress served on the jury of the festival this year and walked the red carpet many times throughout the past two weeks.

Cate was joined by fashion designer Roberta Armani at the closing ceremony and she wore a peacock dress from Armani‘s latest couture collection.

Also in attendance at the closing ceremony were fellow jury member Matt Dillon and his girlfriend Roberta Mastromichele, as well as Diego Boneta.

The 56-year-old actor is serving as the honorary president of the festival and he was presented with an award at the event that evening.

The festival is currently in its third year and it was founded by producer and actress Tiziana Rocca.

Matt, who was previously nominated for an Oscar for his work in Crash, was most recently seen in the movie Capone, which you can watch now on VOD.

For most of the quarantine period, Matt was in New York City and he shared the below selfie on his Instagram account.

Matt Dillon keeps it cool and casual while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film The House That Jack Built held at UGC Cine Cite Les Halles Cinema on Tuesday (October 2) in Paris, France.

The 54-year-old actor was joined at the event by his girlfriend Roberta Mastromichele.

The House That Jack Built stars Matt as the eponymous serial killer. Von Trier‘s script follows Jack’s development as a murderer, following him through five important killings and providing glimpses into his troubling coming-of-age experience.

The film drew controversy at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival due to the violence in the film, causing several people to walk out.
